Yes, and in lovely HD.

To answer a question from earlier in the topic: When my wife and I played the game, we got through Parts I and II in about 75 hours, and Part III then took us another 75 hours, since we tried to do as much as we could with it. The game is not lacking for content.

Stumbled across another discovery: I did not realize that Nozomi Entertainment (i.e. Right Stuf) had a You Tube channel featuring several complete series, including stuff like the Dirty Pair OAVs and at least one El Hazard.

A quick side note, since I just found out about it:

There is a (free-with-ads, premium available at $4.99 U.S. / month) streaming service called RetroCrush that shows nothing but old school anime ('80s and '90s, but also as far back as the '70s). I put the app on my Roku. Recommend having a look if your tastes are like mine.

By coincidence, have been picking up the SAO games on PS4. Got Re: Hollow Fragment to replace the Vita version of Hollow Fragment that I lost when my memory card tanked.

You have recommended Evenicle to me before, and I still need to look into it.

agarest games are..... very long games and not for everyone but hey they're on super huge sales now ($12 for all of em, or $3 for the first game)

Hard to believe I got the first one of those for my 360 all the way back in '08. Has it been that long?

Now, I do have Wagamama High Spec, and that might be the next thing I install, since I have had it for a while.

Dragon Quest XI is my favorite game of 2018, and I enjoyed it enough to also buy the Switch version, but, to be fair, I have been a fan of the series since the '80s.

And I beat Dragon Quest II on the NES. That might have made me crazy.

Had a good holiday, and I hope you all had similar good fortune. The missus got me Our World Is Ended (PS4) and Raging Loop (Switch), and Daughter #1 got me Valkyrie Chronicles 4 (PS4). ... Yes, I know, shame on me for not getting that one sooner.

I was inclined to think that season 32 was the worst season (as of now, anyway) of the Simpsons... which it still might be.

I seem to recall Season 13 holding the title of Worst Season of The Simpsons, but that might have changed. Your opinion? (And should I page Ogurisama?)

Also: Cincinnati should never be mentioned on TV in any capacity. Source: I live there. It sucks.

Picked up SD Gundam G Generation Genesis again. No idea why I put it down for four years. Great way to relive the greatest hits of Gundam history, including a large number that never made it to the U.S.

I did not feel the pull towards Genshin Impact. Then again, I did not feel the pull towards Breath of the Wild, either, though I do have Age of Calamity.

And I have yet to watch MHA. Most likely because it is the current big shounen series. I will enjoy it more after the popularity dies down. If Game Stop TV is pushing it, it is a thing I need to avoid. I avoid Black Clover for the same reason ... and because I am tired of main characters whose default volume is 11 out of 10.

Bleach got to the point that I found the fillers to be more interesting than the main story.

The demise of the DC Universe app (yesterday) has caused me to develop a need to get into all the DC TV shows, especially those that used to be exclusive to the app (... until HBO Max gobbled it up, and that is the one app that is inaccessible from a Roku). As it happens, Amazon has the DVD sets for those for about $10 U.S. each, so it was easy to get those together. (Also got a good deal on the Blu-Ray version of the underrated Legion of Super-Heroes cartoon.)

Looking at the Constantine TV show next. Plus Legends of Tomorrow, but I can watch that on Netflix. Cannot get hyped for either Arrow or Flash (or Supergirl or Batwoman), though.

Have not made it to God Eater 3 as of yet. I still need to play through God Eater 2 (and the remake of the original).

I did not realize that Attack On Titan had a new season coming. That seems to have already started.

Meanwhile, I am having a blast on the new computer. Everything is so fast now, and this is not even a high-end machine. Downloads, burning DVD-Rs, installing things, everything. And here I was thinking tech was not going to be much farther along for laptops than it was back in 2012.

Exploring the Funimation library. Tons of titles in there, less overlap than I expected.

Since streaming has made most anime accessible to me, I am starting to focus my searching on titles on DVD that have gone down the cracks and not been picked up (e.g. all those old OAVs under the Central Park Media / U.S. Manga Corps and Anime Works umbrellas). Got a good deal on Tekkaman Blade II, and that is only the beginning.

So, needless to say, I didn't succeed in my NaNoWriMo challenge.

Unless you are doing epic fantasy (which is longer) or young adult (which is shorter), 80,000 to 100,000 words is about right for the average novel. Still, 22,000 in a month is a good showing, especially if you are not used to being in the writing habit. Well done.

Meanwhile, one more day until new computer time. Spent a fair chunk of yesterday clearing out all my Steam games to get ready for the switch.

Fate / Stay Night discussion has returned? Hmm. *digs up opinions* All right. I enjoy the first anime (especially the soundtrack), I love Zero, I enjoy U.B.W. Good stuff. (The Heaven's Feel movies are amazing, though.) But I got tired of VN fans dunking on the animated versions ... to the point that I am sick of the VN, or at least of that branch of the fandom. And there are now so many Fate spin-offs that there are good (Grand Order), bad (Last Encore), ugly (Apocrypha), and inexplicable (Dinner for the Emiya Family) things for everyone to see.
