Without covid, it's 2016 again. But this time the candidate has a penis. So it comes down to do you believe hillary being a women cost her more votes then it gained her. Given trump won, i'm inclined to believe it hurt her more. I think trump would get a little less "troll" votes, but without covid there wouldn't be the rallying cry to actually vote. There wouldn't be the need and push for mail in votes which helps combat an extent of voter apathy by reducing the effort (i voted by mail for the first time despite the fact i could have the previous 2 elections).

So, Biden should have won either way, likely would have polled better (i believe he was pre covid?), he probably wouldn't repeat Hillary's mistakes of not going to Wisconsin to campaign, and Joe at least seems to be smart enough to not drag down to trump with his, "Would you just shut up man?". He has the same problems as hillary otherwise. A status quo candidate with no real message offering no major reform.

Pretty much, most of it is google, hit first search result, copy steps and your good. It barely registers as effort. But I don't pretend it doesn't exist. But when you get the issues that go beyond that, it gets immensely frustrating.

You are vastly more likely to run into issues on pc gaming then console, but this triggers pc gamers so much. PC brings more options, more options brings more problems, more problems brings more solutions to those problems.

i've probably had an issue 1-2/a month. The only time it's "once in a great while" is if you just play the same 5 games for years on years. And the older the game is, the more likely you'll have issues. To replay tie fighter prior to squadrons i needed to download a 3rd party tool to get my flight stick to work with it.

Star wars squadrons just launched with hotas issues that you had to wait for a patch for or use various 3rd party tools to get around. FF7 was a nightmare to get working with an X1 controller. DW8:XL took downloading some mods to get the controller working there and having the correct prompts. Forza Horizon 3 will crash to desktop when selecting cars.

Then you get the launchers into launchers, like Microsoft flight sim where you download 80gbs to be met with another 80 gb patch that's common on most MMOs, that's not a "problem" just a needless annoyance.

And all of that before getting into modding issues (which is where most of the rest of the issues i've encountered), which is a major perk of PC gaming. i do think the switch pro controller is better than the x1 as well (i feel it's size is better and it's at a really good weight, plus great battery life, and no stupid fucking batteries, though my x1 on my pc is always usb connected so that bit doesn't matter beyond principle). It can be a little tricky to use on PC, steam does make it easier but it's not as flawless as X1 tends to be.

depends entirely upon how quickly they're actually shipping. TC has already gone through this on amazon and canceled that order when they went from "ready to ship" to "shipping a few weeks from now".

If you can get one while people are still supporting scalpers, it's not unreasonable to think you can get $1900-2200 on a 3090.
