Parrying with the shield is also SO SATISFYING in God of War. Easily one of the best PS4 exclusives, especially once you start reading into the stats and getting a build going.

I sincerely hope anyone criticizing her, here or elsewhere, never goes through the struggle of losing a child. My wife had a miscarriage a couple years after our daughter was born. I'll also point out, we didn't do it because we lost the pregnancy fairly early, but it is not at all uncommon for people to do things like take photos in moments of grief like this. Its not even uncommon for people to do little mini photo shoots with the body of a stillborn baby. Its about capturing the memory.

Chrissy has also always been very active on social media and you can 100% bet that if she didn't post something for a while, the bump eventually disappeared, etc., that people would just start assuming things. When you're a celebrity and your life is in the spotlight that much, its absolutely in your best interests to get out in front of everything that might impact you.

it's very good if you get that hammer upgrade that lets you charge your attack quicker. if not then it's pretty risky because of how slow it is x(

How many areas are there? I feel like the two times I've made it to Elysium so far I have like...half that many boons/perks. >.> I don't know if I'm just missing out, having bad luck with boons, or what...but I constantly feel severely underpowered as soon as I get out of Tartarus.

that's my favorite weapon lol. Good range with the standard attack plus a good aoe with the spin attack. And I like the form that lets you warp to it when you throw it, because its fun lol

So far its a toss up between shield and bow for me, which I'm surprised to say for the latter. I just unlocked the gauntlets too but haven't tried them yet.

Bow is also growing on me...as is the shield. I wish the special had more oomph, but I can't lie....feeling like a demigod version of Captain America is awesome as heeeeeeeck.

EDIT: shield is definitely my favorite now, it just feels so...good to use.

Hmm, what do you guys think...should I put points into dark regeneration now or save up for a second death defiance. I'm at ~150 darkness right now so I have a ways to go but that extra life is might enticing...but so is healing on darkness pickups. A paltry 3 health per room feels ass awful bad poop butts. (._.)

I still can't clear the second stage, and I'm like 10 hours in, lol. I made it to the mid-boss once, I think. The issue is all on me, I'm not very good at games like these where you need to remember enemy patterns, but I'm having a blast. I will get better after time, I'm a really good Isaac player now, and I used to be horrible. It just takes me longer to learn

Also, I always end up damaging myself in the fire/lava

Question: I feel like I'm missing something or doing something wrong here...I've made it to Asphodel twice now and it just feels like such a step up in difficulty compared to the first area that I'm not sure how I can make it through the rest of the game (depending on how many areas there are).

I'm assuming it gets 'easier' as more stuff is unlocked via the mirror and whatnot...I just hope it doesn't take too long to get to that point. For example now, I just entered the second area for my second time and all I really have to my name is an aoe explosion on a shield toss return from a daedalus hammer and two low tier, level 1 boons. I just feel like I'm not doing enough damage in the second area right now to effectively clear enemies quickly. Is this normal early on or am I just not getting enough synergy going in the first area?

Man, I have not been a fan of roguelikes or roguelites historically here...but this game is so freaking good. A few runs in now and I beat Meg for the first time, started my first trek into the second area, almost beat the hydra the first time...I'm seriously loving it. I'm also glad I listened to earlier posts and just unlocked the bow. The aoe special shot + Zeus bolts...lawd I loved that. My favorite boon so far is definitely the dash upgrade from Poseidon though. Damage, a dot, and knockback felt sooooo good.

Okay, lay it on me, bros...I just played for the first time tonight, after dying to you know who...I spent my first set of crystals on unlock the extra life you get when you die. What should I prioritize next? Also I'm assuming that even though it told me to spend my first key to unlock a new weapon, I'm happy with the sword and only have enough for the bow so I'm assuming/hoping I can skip unlocking the bow when I go back tomorrow.

I know literally nothing about this game other than what I experienced on my first run...tips/advice/etc. is much appreciated!

Huh, no scalpel procedure...when I got mine done a couple years ago, they did the numbing shots but basically went in and snipped them, tied them up, and cauterized the ends before stiching my balls back up.

Fair. Games havent seen a major price increase in decades but they cost multimillions more to develop

They don't need a price increase given the prevalence of day 1 dlc, microtransactions, and season passes. Gaming is more profitable than its ever been...developers and publishers just want more is all...and it isn't warranted unless they plan on releasing 100% full and complete games.

I love Geico...have literally never had an issue with them. The one time we got in a wreck, they got us over to a local body shop the next day and all we paid was a small deductible. AAA was a nightmare before that.
