I believe that some people absolutely go too far in language policing with no regard for intent. The difference, however, is that I don't consider that a reason to abandon my belief in the respect and dignity that should be afforded to transgender people.

Recently I was warned for "saying being transgender is committing stolen valor " which not only did I never say, isn't even coherent.

It was immediately overturned for being utterly nonsensical (which is strange for these mods who don't seem to mind making blatant errors in judgement)

But it is true that pro transgender activists are keen to randomly accuse people of things they didn't say, even if the accusation literally doesn't make sense.

You can be 100% pro equal rights like me and still acknowledge that's a bad precedent.

You can't without offending someone or some mod. I was modded recently in a topic asking if there was more than 1 gender. I never once said anything about transgender people or was the topic talking about them. There are 2 genders. Male and female. Either gender can be swapped so I'm not sure where the mod or the person who marked me was offended. I was mocking people who identified as chairs or animals, but it was somehow turned into me mocking people who were transgendered. I disputed it, but of course mods are never wrong and it was upheld without a response.
