If only. As recently as last week she was spreading her hateful views by advertising for a shop full of merchandise with openly transphobic messages.
In that case I find her a little harder to defend. See, I interpreted her original statement as basically saying she doesn't quite fully understand what it means to be trans; as a gay man myself I must admit ignorance in that area as well - and that's ok! It's not everyone's battle to fight. But no, actively being hateful isn't cool.

While I do agree what she originally said was really warped and blown out of proportion, I don't see why everyone who's ever had six degrees of Harry Potter feels the need to "respond." She said what she said, now let her be.

I take tramadol as needed for chronic post-surgical pain. Some days I can't tell a difference at all and other times I'm zoned out for like two days afterwards, (though, admittedly, in a not entirely unpleasant way). Remember. the amount of acetaminophen in over the counter drugs like tylenol is fairly minimal. I'd be inclined to believe prescription painkillers totally wreck your liver over time, other factors depending, of course.

I've lived in my house for ten years and have not seen one single kid out and about on Halloween night. Not one. However, a couple years ago I started going to my friend's house a few neighborhoods over and it's like a full on block party. I think this year we'll hang out as normal but maybe just throw the candy at any kids that show up, and I'm definitely putting less effort into a costume, if I dress up at all.

I've had many surgeries as well as chronic post-surgical pain, and have taken percocet and tramadol in recent years for legitimate issues. My head gets all fuzzy and occasionally I get nauseous, but at the same time it's not entirely unpleasant. I don't have an addictive personality and never worry about becoming a little too liberal with my meds, but would be lying if I said I didn't understand why some people do.

Actually yes, Dr. Pepper is my favorite pop. (And bonus points for calling it pop and not soda. I also say "supper" but heaven help me if I start saying "warsh" like my mother.) I don't drink it a lot, but I'm on meds for chronic post-surgical pain that sometimes makes me woozy, and a Dr. Pepper is all that helps my tummy.

Getting wisdom teeth pulled. They never bothered me, but I had cavities in most and it made more sense to get rid of them than fix them. A relatively painless experience, though I bled a LOT. l bet I gushed for 24 hours straight, ruining like three shirts and a set of bed sheets.

Also, Ghostbusters 2016 and The Mummy with Tom Cruise. The former is genuinely witty and at least on par with thecl original, and the latter a fun adventure with an amazing aesthetic and set/costume direction. Two of my favorites movies from the past decade.

I always try to be very kind to people who are in the service industry, and try to remember - with ALL people - that you have absolutely no idea what may be going on in their life. I know there have certainly been times when I've appreciated the benefit of the doubt.

That said, I have also seen some legit stupid workers or people who have no shits to give, and it's frustrating when it affects their job performance (beyond simple mistakes) or your experience as a consumer. I still wouldn't lash out them publicly for it because that's not my style, but sometimes criticism is warranted.

I've been having some anxiety over my job search as well. I got laid off from my job of 15 years in April, and just last week had my first interview since. It was by phone and the two people were extremely hard to read; they didn't respond much and it felt like talking to a couple of rocks, lol. But, I sent an email the next morning thanking them for the opportunity and they responded with an invitation for a second in-person interview tomorrow. I'm still anxious about it but now that I know I made a good first impression after all I'm feeling more confident.

Rich, no, but admittedly comfortable. I actually once made what I now know was a major faux pas a couple years ago when I casually mentioned to a coworker that I should probably go to the bank because I still had my last five or six checks sitting unopened on the counter. Their jaw just about dropped to the floor and they said, you don't live paycheck to paycheck? No...I just thought it was one of those sayings. I had no idea people literally did that. Needless to say it was a teachable moment, lol.

Only loan I've ever taken out is on my house. I've paid for every car I've owned and my college education out of pocket.
