I think he's great. I actually found his earlier stuff kind of unwatchable back when I discovered him through AVGN. A few years back he did a review on Fox Kids and I got to watching it. I think I've watched almost everything outside of the first two seasons (and a lot of those too). I like the recaps, the humor, and style. I agree with people saying they dislike the reenactment stuff. I don't hate it, but I do wish he used actual clips. However, this kind of review pops up only once or twice a year. The rest are his normal stuff.

Rip off is the wrong wording. The properties are fairly different outside of having monsters fight.

However, Digimon absolutely was pushed as hard as it was after it's initial success because Pokemon exploded

Remakes. That said, I think you can turn on the old music eventually. I recommend that. New music lacks some of the punch. Especially the Champion theme.

I'll also a sucker for the original style. Used a lot of black in the maps and I loved how it looked. You probably won't be bothered by it.

I wear it every day to work. I'm not crying about it, but they do cut into my ears a lot. Sadly, the only ones they pass out at work are over the ear ones.

I agree that the good outweighs the bad by a massive margin. However, I think it's fine to say "these are a bit annoying."
