You only have to watch maybe three movies to catch up on Wanda and Vision.
And those movies all have characters and plot points that have been setup in more movies.
This clearly isn't aimed at people who have seen every MCU movie multiple times, it's just to prevent people from having to do hours of required watching before they can enjoy this show. It's a pretty smart move if you ask me and it's weird to complain about this.

Surely you don't seriously believe the pharmaceutical companies just cobble a few ingredients together and start injecting them in people to see what happens, right? They do plenty of testing before moving to human test subjects.

And again, health risks to unborn babies isn't even a factor here. Pregnant women were excluded from the trials then, and are excluded from being vaccinated now.

Also they are recommending pregnant women don't take the vaccine since they don't know what effects it will have on the baby.
The reason for this is because they don't include pregnant women as test subjects out of ethical reasons. That doesn't necessarily mean they expect risks for unborn babies.

This may just be a UK thing as we had a bad time with a vaccine in the 60s that caused a load of birth defects.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thalidomide_scandal
...that wasn't a vaccine.

Then there is the growing number of people having allergic reactions to the Moderna vaccine to the point they had to make a PSA to tell people who have history of allergies to be careful.
From what I gather allergic reactions are pretty mild and only happened in rare occasions. The benefits of the vaccine far outweigh these minor inconveniences.

This is assuming an "anaphylactic" and "anaphylactoid" reaction is the same thing.

Herd immunity is a myth because you can catch it again lol

Dumb take. The possibility of reinfection doesn't make herd immunity a myth. Even if the vaccines were to provide only a few months of protection, they will still significantly lower the spread of the virus and prevent many deaths.

Besides, there may be a difference between natural immunity after getting sick and immunity gained from the vaccine. From the numbers we've seen so far, the vaccines seem to provide immunity just fine.

Demanding healthy individuals take the vaccine to protect the tiny fraction of a percent of people who may have less than a 99.9% survival rate is ridiculous. People who are at risk should be the ones to get the vaccine. Not the remains majority of healthy people who have nearly a 100% chance of survival

This paragraph shows you don't understand the basics behind vaccinations.

Vaccines aren't 100% effective for everyone, and the elderly especially might get less protection from them. There's also people who cannot get vaccines for legitimate medical reasons (due to being immunocompromised). It just so happens that these groups are also the most vulnerable against infectious diseases like COVID, so they have to rely on protection from herd immunity - which is why healthy people need vaccines as well.

With an audience that big and a reach that wide he has to take responsibility over the consequences of his show. Whether he personally agrees with his guests doesn't really matter, by offering them a platform he gives them an opportunity to spread their ideas unopposed to a large audience. Plus it provides an ideal entry point for listeners to go down the YouTube algorithmic rabbit hole.

When his podcast contributes to the spread of harmful things like climate change or covid denial, conspiracy theories or alt-right talking points, I don't think he can get away with "don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger".

On the Giuliani scene: no, it wasn't mentioned to him the character was 15. However it was abundantly clear he was getting ready to have sex with her. He went inside her bedroom for drinks, was touching her, asked her phone number, laid on her bed and shoved his hand down his pants. The takeaway isn't so much Giuliani is a pedophile, but rather:

1. Giuliani is a pervy creep, who has no issues banging a girl 50 years younger than him who was starstruck by his celebrity status. And apparently his idea of opening move is to start rubbing his lil' Rudy.

2. It's embarrassingly easy to honeypot the president's personal lawyer. If freaking Borat can get him a compromising position for a comedy movie, how easy must it be for someone with a more malicious intent?
