fun fact I'd take Nilin over the other 4. lec is alright but vastly overstays it's welcome. Though honestly I'd most likely go with Nilin even if that weren't a factor. (see: me wanting to move on from lastendconductor when it's still just 2 minutes in, and then wanting to play Nilin again after that song finishes)

Well, this is awkward, maybe. a rematch, I was afraid this would happen (and figured there would be a pretty high chance of it Oh Well) and here I am, flipping my vote on it. Was already a close match for me, and this comes at a combination of both Geofront4 working more for me & Credits working less for me in the current moment. I feel like this would feel cooler if I swapped my vote from the previous winner to the previous loser for the good ol underdog situation but that ain't really the case here oh well. Also if match 1 goes my way here then division B is just full hecked for me.

Wow Match 1 Is My Top Two Remaining Songs In The Contest!!! it's sort of weird I'm voting for Classroom but I'm also kind of rooting for Isoleucine to win since it's my personal sort of hopeful pick for "contest champion" what with it's more broad appeal. Almost feels weird how I'm voting in match 2 by comparison because I feel like both of these matches are vaguely comparable in how I like the songs, where metaphorically Classroom = Rude Buster & Isoleucine = TIGAR, in how one song focuses on getting mostly just one theme down very well, while the other focuses on combining a bunch of themes together very well. Just so happens that Classroom's theme is very much what I'm in the mood for (well except for VOICE I guess but I can ignore it) and one of Isoleucine's themes is sorta not (but the rest of it is still so good it makes up for it for the most part). Match 2 is more "neutral" with regards to that kind of interaction but also still very relevant to my interests, and in this case the many themes one wins out. I did give match 2 a relisten because the songs were already close and TIGAR has been a song where my opinion has changed a lot on, but my vote isn't flipping here. All of these songs are great and both matches are real close (for me at least!!) !!!

All in all, this is looking pretty dang good to me ! Only one song I dislike left, and a good percentage of songs are ones I actively enjoy! Hooray!!! Division B is mildly hecked though. (Also that one poll where nobody voted for Classroom, I totally should've but I impulsively went for isoleucine too fast whoops)
Also that big vgmc tribute list thing looks real neat. And I'm glad I randomly returned last contest instead of this one or else things could've been kinda awkward & frustrating with regards to eligibility.

YO-KAI Disco (Hell's Entrance World)

Made up my mind. Wyrm's Jewelbox has those sweet keyboard moments and the high strings parts aren't even really all that bad, but it feels like it's set up for greatness but never fully properly follows through, while Yokai Disco does manage to follow through in it's cool build. SOmething like that.

So, I thought BurningForce vs. MassiveX was gonna be the hardest match for me in this set but apparently I didn't consider Yokai vs. Wyrm. Somehow early on I marked Yokai Disco as one of my favorites in the bracket, but since then it has fallen and right now it's just not really doing it for me. What IS doing it for me however are the sweet keyboard sections of Wyrm's Jewelbox. But the trumpet & high strings sections bring it back down for me in this particular match up. Gonna try to come back to this in another mood and see if my Yokai Dislike continues tomorrow if I remember to.

uh oh match 1 is the hardest match for me left in round 4. Doubly so since I sort of found out BFM is one of my two remaining songs I supported, and I don't exactly have a lot of faith in the other one. But Massive X just works more for me. Still, real close one here. Either one winning is good.
