TopicWho are Marvel's "Big Three" superheroes?

Are the "Big Three" supposed to be heroes that are recognizable to everyone, even people that don't follow comics or movies? It feels like Hulk has been sliding in popularity since he hasn't had his own movie in over a decade, which we've been inundated with Iron Man, Captain America, and Spider-Man movies.

How the hell was this shit supposed to simplify math when it massively overcomplicates it. If we'd have had common core math all along, Einstein would have died a drunk with no accomplishments to his name.
I don't know what common core math is, but I'll just say that every time education boards decide to change the way that math is done (which happens more than any other subject for some reason), people that learned it a different way are shocked and appalled.

truth is some people cant understand numbers no matter what, it doesnt mean they have brain issues though. Everybody is built differently.
I don't really believe that. True that people have a wide variety of innate mathematical ability, but natural talent isn't everything. The problem is that everyone has little Swiss cheese holes in their knowledge, even math prodigies, and if they happen to miss certain things (like basic algebra) early on, then they're not given the chance to catch up later and are told that they "aren't math people".

TC, I guarantee that it will get easier as she learns more. It's frustrating, but that's the reality of teaching.

TopicWhy didn't Obi Wan kill Anakin on Mustafar? Spoilers

I don't think anyone is debating that Obi-Wan was morally correct to leave Anakin to slowly and painfully die. It was a moment of weakness for him and one instance of the Jedi code being true - Obi-Wan's attachment to Anakin prevented him from doing the right thing.

I also recently rewatched the PT and boy, they are even worse than I remember. I last saw them in full about 10 years ago and I definitely didn't remember as much of them as I thought.

The best thing about Episode I is the duel with Maul, which admittedly is pretty fucking boss, but that's such a small portion of runtime that it can't salvage the movie. The rest is evenly split between pod racing and trade politics...

Episode II has literally no redeeming qualities. Windu's fight scenes look so incredibly awkward that you'd have no idea he's supposed to be the best swordsman in the Jedi Order. Jango Fett, up until his death, was maybe one of the good parts of the movie, but he died like a bumbling idiot. The ending with what is basically the beginning of the Clone Wars dragged on far too long. Also, I hate Yoda's fighting style. After you get over the initial shock it just looks nonsensical.

Episode III is actually decent, but unfortunately so many dramatic moments are undercut by wooden performances and terrible writing. The cast is full of great actors, no idea what happened here. Dooku vs Anakin and Obi-Wan vs Vader are excellent. The duel between WIndu and Sidious is laughable for what should have been one of the best displays of swordsmanship in the series. Sidious vs Yoda was seriously undercut by the constant laughter, although I did like the imagery of Sidious literally throwing the senate at Yoda. Also, maybe a hot take but Anakin's sudden willingness to kill the younglings isn't really believable. It would have made more sense to have him murder the separatist leaders first, as at least they are enemies of his, and the younglings could have been one of his final slides down a slippery slope.

I will give credit, though, that at least the PT tried something new compared to the OT. The sequels are just the OT but way worse and with a story that actually takes away from the OT's ending.
