On top of the free games they give out on a weekly basis, there's also the '-$10 off' coupons that they hand out every sale. Was personally able to grab Journey to the Savage Planet for $5 during their last one thanks to it (as well as Griftlands for $5, which came with a bonus steam key) --- |

Didn't touch post-game stuff Dark Cloud - Played the first dozen or so floors, but never beat. Did beat Dark Cloud 2 though Shadow of the Colossus - Pretty sure I beat the original PS2 version. Legit can't remember Batman: Arkham Asylum - 100%ed Pokemon Snap (original) - Beat, but don't think I 100%ed --- |

| AuthenticZac 12/08/20 9:16:20 AM #8 | Prior to this week, I was doing "alright" for the most part, but definitely in my head and off-kilter these past few days; My mom has an eye procedure tomorrow (removing liquid), after months of talking about doctors she's been seeing for various problems (not covid). Then in a couple weeks, she will be going to the Mayo clinic to try to figure out what exactly has been causing the issues. According to her, she still hasn't been able to get a proper diagnosis, though I feel like she's been hiding information (ex: she's lost over 100lbs this year). I'm supposed to be going down there to visit for Christmas (been 2 years since I last saw 'em), hopefully also finding out what is really going on, and all I can hear in my head are people yelling at me that I shouldn't be traveling during the pandemic, that everyone thinks they are special and some sort of exception. Then, you have Twitch's recent ban/whatever on "blind playthroughs", which feels like a personal attack against me and the on-again/off-again channel that I have been managing since '09. I really could go on a rant about it, but since there's already another topic on that, rather not muddy this one by bringing that discussion here. There's also the issue of a lack of any sort of social interaction in my life, but I have no one to blame but myself there. Even before the pandemic, I have lived a rather asocial lifestyle, so never really interacted with anyone that I didn't absolutely have to. Fine with it 99% of the time, but every so often there is a crack that causes me to break down. Tried my hand at a couple social apps this past month, and while I have had some messages, I just can't convince myself to respond to any of them There's plenty of other small nagging issues that just keep building up (don't you just love home owners' association?!), but I feel like I've been able to properly manage them from affecting me too much --- |

Two tactics I've starting to do; 1) Staying at the bottom of an opponents' basket, and jump-release the eggs. Don't bother trying to leave their area, and just work on emptying it. 2) Stay at the middle step of your basket and play defense. Your body will block the opponents from being able to jump properly, and if an egg lands a step, you can kick it back in fairly quickly (also works well to counter tactic #1) --- |
