Lots of people probably think of tomb Raider when someone is named Lora. It doesn't mean they were named after Lora Croft. Many people may think of Uncharted when they hear Nathan. But Nathan is a common name. It doesn't mean they were named after Nathan Drake...Meanwhile, the vast majority of people go their entire lives without knowing a single Zelda, and only ever hear the name from a very popular game series over the course of decades. Whether it existed prior or not, the name has a singular association in the minds of most and society at large. Basically the same sort of reasoning you're not about to try to name your kid Adolf. --- It's not God I hate, it's his annoying little fan club I can't stand! |
