This is true, but 2-3 hours is plenty for a grocery run or similar.

Basically it's all probability-based. A mask doesn't render you immune but it does reduce your risk on the occasions you need to leave your home.

Yeah the masks are very good at slowing down spread, they just don't do much to prevent individual people from being infected if exposed.
