There's no minimum threshold required to make a video game a video game. Honestly though, our answers here don't especially matter, as a common consensus has already been established. VNs are accepted as video games by developers, publishers, and consumers alike. They are sold as video games, on video game platforms, with ESRB/CERO ratings. The "VNs aren't real games" argument is now akin to the "Rap isn't real music" argument. It's just silly contrarian nonsense. |
