Now that he's in the middle he had to mellow out and play along with the strict pacing and plots of modern episodes, and it developed his character into someone who is low IQ instead of crazy. Add to the fact that weed just isn't funny, TED TWO, and it feels hollow. I like the stronger plots but Randy being a farmer and Stan living outside the city hasn't changed anything significantly, thankfully. --- |

| DoomSwell 07/05/20 2:01:48 PM #14 | TLDR: Ice Beam & Dig also oneshot with much more PP. Everything does when you hit weaknesses; its pokemon. I guess I haven't legitimately tried Nidoking, but the idea of spamming X Accuracies really does not appeal to me when Ice Beam and Dig can also oneshot or at least twoshot almost everything too. And they have more PP, honestly running back to the pokecenter to heal PP is a major time drain. Again, I could use ethers like the speedruns but.. muh' hoarding. Speaking of, speedrunners keep track of PP like a gambler counts cards. They've memorized whether they can KO any given enemy with Thrash or if they need to save a Horn Drill for the Gymleader so they don't have to run back to the pokemon center. Squirtle also plows through not only the early game, easier than Nidoking; but the whole game. I don't need to explain Brock but for Misty all you need is Bite. Use Dig on Surge and if you get worried in Rock Tunnel. Ice Beam on Erica, Dig on Team Rocket, ghosts and Koga. Use anything you want on Blaine, Ice Beam on Giovanni. I skipped Sabrina cause she's the hardest but you can overlevel enough to take her out with Dig; it has the same attack power as Earthquake in Gen One. Lorelei you kinda have to tank but at least you resist, Bruno is half given to you, Dig on Agatha, Ice Beam on Lance. The Rival is a mix of Ice Beam and Dig. I'm sure Nidoking is effective, I agree even (How could I argue with the speedruns?) Im just saying; you don't realize Squi-ce Beam & Dig are just as effective. --- |

Yes, by a few seconds; thanks to RNG manip'ing DVs/IVs. Squirtle was tied for the world record before manips were found. Easiest? Not quite. Squirtle with Ice Beam & Dig is stupid easy. I've done it before but now I keep trying to hoard my TMs for Stadium and... I lose interest, I have attention span problems. ( --- |

Ive been halfassing speedruns because I want to train or catch other pokemon but I always lose interest around Rock Tunnel, because I think thats about the 3 hour mark. I will say solo squirtle (& evolutions) is the easiest way to play though, you get so overleveled with a decent moveset. But I keep grabbing Dugtrio for Surge & Koga. And trying Farfetch'd on Erica instead of using TMs like Ice Beam and Dig. --- |

The problem is they tried to make a movie out of a video game, and they tried to make it as loyal as possible instead of an adaptation like any other game. Instead of being an actual movie like Silent Hill or even the Mario Brothers movie; they effectively made a Metal Gear Solid "game". And similar to the remake, they wanted to bring in "new fans" instead of just appealing to the old. So its not as much a sequel as it is a little bit of a re-imagining. Being FF7 related, Sephiroth had to be the climax of the movie, while Kadaj and the other two played the part of Jenova's limbs. The original game was already a finished story, the only thing they could do is repeat the same story with 'creative liberties.' Dirge of Cerebus I don't really remember, but similar to what I said about AC; Hojo is to Vincent as Sephiroth is to Cloud. Iconic rivials, two sides of the same story arcs. In regard to the remake, they're trying to do something with alternate timelines. MaximilianDood did some videos about it on YouTube but in short, MASSIVE SPOILERS DEEPER THAN YOU THINK: If I were to speculate where they are going with the alternate timelines, I think they are going to create a total of three. The original, one where Aerith lives, and one where they go back in time from Aerith living and realize her sacrifice is necessary to defeat Sephiroth. --- |

It feels so random whether the bar gives sidequests or mainquests and which is which and what quest items you should keep around because you can only have a few. The skills are a little grindy and the recruiting is a little too random too. Oh, and most people hate the law system, so there's that. I think it usually doesnt matter and you can just reset to reroll if it did. That all said though, I 100%'d it. Was a good game but... I see no need for a remake. I am against ports in general because its lazy and I only like remakes if they're much better. --- |

Barely any Sports, Fighting, Racing or Party games except Mario. Not into shooters at all, but I have played Metal Gear Solid 1~3; 4 was too shooty for me. Never really played anything online or multiplayer. --- |

The sealife in Sub were legitimately interesting and even scary when its teeth are right behind you twice as big as you and it roars like a siren... but NMS just has drones that shoot at you and *space* cows that you can breed. NMS isn't that isolated either, instead of ancient lore you get the hypellos from FFX2 speaking albhed and you have to grind to buy ship parts from them. If you buy enough you learn the letter G. Other than that, yeah, you build ships and forts and explore with limited oxygen and stuff, but NMS is pretty bland. Its like playing spore on namek from DBZ; oooh blue grass green sky. --- |
