I'm not reading the most recent three pages yet, but I'm 100% positive Corrik is Scum with DYL. Like I said, felt like DYL was being coached, and if it's not Puns, it's probably Corrik. He's danced around a lot of suspicions by being more threatening about them than actually pushing them. The way he's talked about DYL also is pretty much the exact same as I did last game - pretty much admitted they were Scum, but hasn't been pushing hard to end day. Also is trying to set up alignments in relation to DYL's flip as Scum before it happens (which means he knows DYL is going to flip Scum).

Aren't you suggesting that Corrik is my coach? If so... why go after him first? The stronger read isn't on me?

Really not feeling these Corrik votes.

Half of Kaelee's reasoning isn't even an actual scum read. Corrik's arrogant. Okay, but he's always arrogant. That tells us nothing. His interactions with Crescent was just an aggressive player going after what is usually(Correct me if I"m wrong, it's been a long time since I've played with Crescent) a somewhat passive player. That also doesn't indicate town or scum.

You could argue rolefishing sure, but even then... compare that to "Let's end the day 20 hours in!" people.

And Han wants to lynch Corrik despite my flip determining if Corrik is scum or not in his eyes.

I just don't see these votes as logical.

Looking back at things.

I said Kaelee felt townish earlier. For the most part the remains true.

They keep popping in and saying "DYL is the safe lynch" though. They've discussed suspicions on more than one user, but they've really only gone after HB, and that was directly after a cop claim.

Say I flip town. You're given the ability to kill any one player here and now. Who would it be, and why?

I'm not scum, and it's taking everything I've got to not just afk through the rest of the day. I feel like I've talked and talked, and most people just dismiss what I've said as fluff.

Like legit the "walls" I've made this game are nothing compared to what I used to do, and those exhausted the fuck out of me.

The shitty thing is that I know there's actual town on my mislynch, and too many people have the "Let's just skip this day" mentality that's going to bite town in the butt. If I'm going to get mislynched the first day I return to mafia, whatever. I won't be happy with anyone, but whatever. If town gets swept because of their "who cares" mentality though? I'd consider it spitting in my face.

Yep. I imagine scum will kill the most active pro town players and everyone else will kind of just look around awkwardly because they were so sure I'm scum they never really bothered taking a look at who else is scum on the possibility(actual reality) that I flip town.

Let me put it to you this way.

If day 1 ended super early, you'd have nothing on Corrik. Absolutely nothing. Zlich. Nada.

Now? Now Corrik has so kindly provided plenty of stuff to look back on. Plenty of reactions. Plenty of things to notice in hindsight. Town or scum, that is a benefit towards town.

True, outing the alleged cop is a negative, but mafia isn't about perfection.

The argument is completely irrespective of your alignment though. Corrik is intentionally handicapping the lynch and running around trying to get claims. Corrik is not hunting for scum.

I hardly see how this lynch is being hampered. I feel like several people, yourself included, have already decided who you were going to lynch the first 20 hours in.

With the "Let's just end day early" that you and other players have been throwing around, can you call that a scumhunting mentality? At the very least it seems like you have a second suspect, but I can't help but think you'll be in the background once I flip town.

It's hard to trust your perspective, given your perspective of me and the reasoning behind it.

Admittedly it could be Scum Corrik defending almost certainly doomed town so he can say "I told you so", but it can just as easily be Town Corrik. I'm not so confident as to hard lean toward either of those day 1.

And that I'm completely reversing everything I said about Corrik when I was upset last night. His behavior could not be more opposite of his behavior towards the Death lynch last game. He was a virtual non factor on the lynch, but he was calling people scummy for NOT wanting the day to end early last game. This game has doing his best to drag it out. He has not at any point said DYL is town. He has only dismissed any and all reasoning he might be scum without saying he isn't. His focus is on pulling out whatever claims he can wrench out of people. I don't think he is trying to find scum, I think he is trying to find town power.

Ending day 1 super early still is bad overall because it denies all of town extra info. If the day ended 20 hours into the game and I flipped scum, you wouldn't have much of a read as to who to scan next would you? These 48+ hours should have given you more of a read on people.

The reality of course would be me flipping town, and thus you having even less info.

HB didn't claim, and I am very welcome to him actually claiming. When DYL did the I can't claim because it's not beneficial to town schtick, no one batted an eye and stayed on him. When HB did it, everyone was like ZOMG OK DONT CLAIM!

The problem is that the question was "How are you town?", and you failed to address that.

And oh, I'm not the "ultimate" anything when it comes to effort. Absolutely not.
