The first was a terrible foundry like job, 10 hr shifts with only a 20 minute lunch break and only making a dollar and half above minimum wage. I just stopped showing up. The second, I was within the first month of working there. I was still in like a probation period and I wrecked a dirt bike on the weekend and hurt my back. I had a doctor's note saying that I wasn't to work for at least five days. The company policy stated that during the probation period I was only allowed to miss 12 hours of work before termination, so they ended my employment. --- |
