The graphics might be the best console game I've ever seen. Gameplay is just like part 1 but Ellie has the ability to jump which opens up a fuckton of new traversal options.

Combat wise you have a lot more choices in part 2 on how to handle certain situations. Partly because of the expanded controls, but also the environments are much larger and spread out allowing you to flank people from behind a lot easier.

If you hate the fact that the main character is lesbian then I guess you'll hate the game, but it's certainly not a "bad" game by any standard.

Anyone who enjoyed the first game will have a lot of fun playing this game. I guess if you REALLY hate the story it would ruin the fun, but honestly aside from some cringey moments it's not bad at all.
