A better system would've been something along the lines of only getting one of each piece of equipment, then being able to buy the upgrade materials from the store after finding them in the fields, and being able to attach whatever 2 bonus skills you want to them from a pool that you build up throughout the game. The whole "breaking down, then building up others" thing is way too tedious, and honestly just a waste of time. Innominat needed Velvet's anger and despair, but Phi snapped her out of it, and now she's continuing to defy reason because...she just doesn't want to stop? I def couldn't follow her train of thought. "I can't forgive Artorius and Innominat, because they made me try to forget about the past and sacrifice myself, and I used to be happy in the past, so I'm going to keep trying to get revenge." ...Is that what she was getting at?
