I've always preferred Crash but Spyro is pretty good too. How was your experience getting 100% in Tree Tops? That level was fun but oddly demanding compared to everything else in the game.

Did they buff him from the 360 version? I can imagine they did since you need to explore the second hidden dungeon to get the last Fell Arms. But yeah I did just about everything I could think of before taking him on and he was still brutalizing my team

Imo the complaints about the breakable weapons are overblown. Not that it isn't annoying sometimes but you can upgrade your weapon capacity and you'll be swimming in weapons faster than you can break them at some point. Though I do understand that the principle alone can be off-putting.

As for Star Wars, there are difficulty settings and you can change the difficulty on the fly. There's also no unlockables or anything tied to any of the difficulties so you can play at the level you're most comfortable with. I suck at the Souls series and haven't beaten any of them but I got the platinum trophy for Star Wars while playing on the second hardest difficultly the whole time. Some of the boss battles tore me a new one but it was very enjoyable overall.

I love Odyssey. I don't know if Sunshine, Galaxy 2, or Odyssey is my favorite 3D Mario. I enjoyed Odyssey the most on a first playthrough but I think the others are more fun on repeat playthroughs.
