Is vidya games a club?

I never paid dues or anything or got an invite to the secret clubhouse. Guess I am not in the clique!

Call them whatever you want.

Whenever an outside person tells a hobbyist there hobby needs to change to accommodate them, people react in different ways depending on the demands.

I do not understand why a group that feels marginalized would not want to natural allies to other marginlized groups. Not that I personally think gamers are oppressed, but if you thought you were, why wouldnt you want your hobby to be a refuge for others in a similair boat?

If you invite someone into a club and they complain about everything in regards to the club and want it to change, that's probably why.

The response to that documentary shows how easy it is to manipulate people into believing anything just because they watched a TV special.

Youre right, but youll have to find someone with that take if you want to complain about it.

It overlooks people in areas with terrible internet service, minorities and the elderly that have no real access to computers.

How are they supposed to get food?

Sounds pretty faithful to the original RE3.

That was the precursor to when the series started going downhill into action schlock.

Trump handled the response to the initial outbreak better than Obama did. Granted Obama didn't say it was a hoax, but he did let a 1000 people die over 6 months before calling H1N1 a pandemic.

Watching old Swine Flu news broadcasts on youtube really shows an obvious bias in the perceptions of the media to these two presidents when they both ****ed up in similar situations.

I find the reaction to corona interesting when taking into comparison the pandemic that hit The USA in 2009 and how downplayed that was by everybody. That ended with roughly 60 million americans infected, 12,000 dead from swine flu. And that flu targeted the young instead of the elderly.

All the while, people were making swine flu jokes and doing exactly what they are doing now.

I've said this many times in other topics already the concept of a creator cannot exist. Think about it. Why would someone all powerful create humans as stupid as some of us are and the fights we have? Logically thinking it just doesn't make sense.
Probably the same way a parent still loves their kids even when they act stupid and violent.

you got that right rustyferret.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
An objection to this would be the presence of evil having a purpose or leading to a positive change.

The presence of suffering in the world has actually driven mankind to improve themselves in a lot of ways.

This is moot though if you're a subjectivist because then concepts like good and evil are just opinions anyway.

These reports of wildlife triumphs in countries hard-hit by the novel coronavirus got hundreds of thousands of retweets. They went viral on Instagram and Tik Tok. They made news headlines. If theres a silver lining of the pandemic, people said, this was itanimals were bouncing back, running free in a humanless world.

But it wasnt real.

The swans in the viral posts regularly appear in the canals of Burano, a small island in the greater Venice metropolitan area, where the photos were taken. The Venetian dolphins were filmed at a port in Sardinia, in the Mediterranean Sea, hundreds of miles away. No one has figured out where the drunken elephant photos came from, but a Chinese news report debunked the viral posts: While elephants did recently come through a village in Yunnan Province, China, their presence isnt out of the norm, they arent the elephants in the viral photos, and they didnt get drunk and pass out in a tea field.

Yes, human beings are inherently amoral.

It's why we have to teach children moral lessons for them to grow up into decent people, and even then that's no guarantee.
