If I can't even get hired as a dishwasher, there's clearly something subpar and subhuman about me. My whole life has been being told I was fucking worthless, even by my own parents, and it turned out they were right in the end if I ended up in the gutter.

36 and 35, and Eugene. The place we were at might re-open in 2 weeks, but there's no telling what kind of crowd we'd be competing with by then, and those 2 weeks might go further depending on how long and how far these shutdowns go.

My brother is waiting on SSI (disabled and can't work), and I've never been able to get hired in all my years of trying because I'm not qualified or smart enough to do anything.

I'm a bi guy, and I've been told on multiple occasions I would be more successful pursuing men versus women.

I don't know how true that is, but it's telling that I've been dead-serious advised that one method I could use to fix my homeless issue was to become some wealthy/successful gay guy's squeeze. Phantasy Star 4 was my favorite, though I have a soft spot for PS3 as well.

The whole "play through multiple generations" thing was legitimately charming to me because it was the only game I knew of back then that had such a mechanic, and I still remembered how floored young me was when I found out your choice wasn't just cosmetic, it actually had long term results on your bloodline (specifically, how physically or magically inclined the main was each cycle), and even results in 4 different endings for all of Rhys' possible grandchildren.

It's probably the same one I already tried, and even then, vocational rehab in general is meant for people with "medical barriers" when it comes to employment. I'm not physically or mentally disabled, so the people I spoke with back then were confused as to why I was sent their way at all, and instead they directed me to other job help agencies.

I was already sent through some sort of vocational rehab before, it didn't go anywhere and my case was closed months ago.

I also don't qualify for any kind of paid training, general assistance, and was cut off from my financial aid for school. Not only can I not earn money, but I can't get any just handed to me.

The most I get is $195 in food stamps every month, and even that might not last forever because as far as the state is concerned I'm an "able-bodied adult male with no children" so I shouldn't be getting *any* kind of help.
