If you plan on playing the game for more than 30 minutes each time then youll have no issue at all making your guy better and getting whatever accessories you want. If you want to be the best and better than everyone as soon as you load the game then yah sure youll need to pay. $20 would make your my player high 80s if not low 90s and will get you plenty of coins left over for packs in My Team or whatever Shotgunnova posted... you get the "Cheesy" perk. Or, if you have a wipeout slider, you get the "Knee Buckler" perkExactly. My center has a little bonus on breakout passes. He doesnt get as fatigued as much from physical dunks and being physical around the rim. Theres a few more. Point guard can make the tight passes, wont lose the ball as often, has a spot up shooting thing where you get the bonus for shooting right when you catch it, and more. --- |

You get drafted and you play some games and do some stuff before the season starts. Youll get badges to add to your player. Point guard could have a playmaker badge making him better at certain passes, Center could have a rebounding badge making him better at certain types of rebounds. you can go to this Gatorade gym type thing and you do training skills to get your guy a little better for 7 days. Can add up to +3 or +4 to stats. youll earn fans which leads to sponsorships which leads to more money and more shit available. its fun --- |

Dont need your guy to be amazing stat wise to be good. Fun little storyline with it too, has you interacting and shit, examples being after a game you can either sign an autograph or say nah. or you can do the my park or my neighborhood or whatever its called. I love going in there and looking at what shoes and clothes are available, do my training and then usually leave. If youre playing a game there id recommend a Rec Game..... maybe its me but I have 0 luck finding games in the neighborhood. If you want to do My Team, be ready to spend money and a lot of time not playing games and playing games. It can get addicting, and bad. If its free you should definitely get it if you even somewhat like basketball or basketball games --- |
