The game provides you with basic versions of all 14 weapons and a training area where you can practice.

Make use of that and try out all of them to see which clicks with your playstyle.

You forgot the Seance mechanic from Spirit of Justice, though seeing at how it ended I doubt it'll carry over to future games like Apollo's bracelet.

I'm partial to the PSP version myself since it also includes Interlude and The After Years. It has all the bonus stuff from the GBA version, and added some new cutscenes.

I'd say the second best version would be the GBA one, but only if you can find the European version since that one is based on the second japanese release of the game which had a lot of bugs and glitches fixed.

Nah, there's no horse with full 5 stars in every stat.

The generally accepted best horses are

2 Health
5 Speed
3 Stamina

5 Health
3 Speed
5 Stamina

4 Health
4 Speed
5 Stamina

And then there's 2 (maybe 3) special horses. Like the Giant horse, and Zelda's Horse. And there's also Link's default horse.

Epona has 4 stars for every category

Has Gentle personality

And her gallop is 1 second longer than regular horses.

I think my main tip regarding the durability system is to just ignore it and just USE ALL THE WEAPONS.

Seriously, don't bother hoarding weapons in this because they hand them out literally everywhere.

I found that my enjoyment of the game increased immensely once I got out of the mindset of "gotta save this weapon for something stronger."

And that some of my most memorable moments were when I DID run out of weapons during a midboss/boss fight and had to improvise.

Good news is that the Rage list has been significantly trimmed down. (Like from 200+ down to 64)

And now you don't even need to be on the Veldt to learn the Rage. You can do it in normal encounters.

Plus, the Rage menu now shows what each Rage does. (2/3 Cure, 1/3 Attack; etc)

It's probably one of the most significant improvements the mod has made.

I believe the only thing permanently missable in the WoB is the Water Rondo dance for Mog, and the Cave of Narshe rages before Locke's scenario.

It was pretty great when I played it 2 years ago, but a bit too memey.

A lot has changed since then, and there's also a patch that restores most of the script to its original if you want.

Really?

I've been playing it on the Switch and haven't encountered any framerate stuff.

And the load times are about 2-2.5 seconds long.

Though I have been playing primarily on handheld mode.
