Same here. I'm the proud/unashamed owner of Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball, Bullet Witch, Rumble Roses, Skullgirls, and more than a few Neptunia titles, among others. This makes me more aware of why this red flag exists rather than dismissing it.

I don't have the inclination to unpack all of that here and now, there's too much ground to cover to give a really solid answer, but the short version is between religion, feminism, pseudoscience, and ideas that have may roots in any of those, but have broken off and taken on lives of their own, floating freely within our culture well beyond their original belief structures, there are some negative views of sexuality and erotic material out there.

That's without even getting into what a red flag it is for a game to trade on sex appeal, because it's often a sign that it offers little to nothing else.

I hear what you're saying, and I've always been an advocate of owning a crock pot since there's hundreds if not thousands of great recipes to be made on the cheap for things that take all of 20 minutes to prep before you go to work and it cooks all day, you come home to a good warm meal plus leftovers

Crock pots are something I wish I'd gotten into years sooner. When I first started using them I actually had to call my mother and was like, "Hey mom, why didn't you tell me about crock pots when I was a kid? This was stuff adult me needed to know."

I definitely second advocating to anyone reading this, go out and get one of these. They're cheap to buy, and they pay for themselves when you factor in time/effort and ingredients.

Yeah see I don't live on my own. I live with my significant other in an arrangement where there's at least some level of shared food spending and storage. With limited freezer space we do have to be sensitive about bulk purchasing single serving prepared meals that the other half might not like.

I bought 60 of those jumbo cans of Chef Boyardee ravioli because they were on special. The 2.5lbs fuckers. I left one can in the pantry untouched as a reminder to keep me humble; where it stayed for years until somebody ate it.

I saw pot pies at the supermarket today, and I was sad I didn't have the freezer space to buy 20 of them. I totally would have, but I was already committed to about 10lbs of pirogies.

It's hard to be a disillusioned and inwardly critical leftist without appearing right wing. And once you appear right wing, it's hard to be critical of the left and still have any place in it. I'm not sure I understand the question.

Like, would I be dumped into their world, in my own body, replacing whatever character, and leaving the remaining characters as confused as I am? Would people think I was that character, but suffering from some sort of mental breakdown? Would it be more like a Quantum Leap thing where I'm in the character's body, but don't have access to any related abilities?
