This. I haven't seen the whole video but the clip on the news today showed two people fighting over a shot gun. I don't know any details about what actually happened but there will be some intent and self defense issues just from that bit I saw. I hope they get made an example of though. People are sick.

In the full clip he's jogging and they ambush him, he tries to run around and then the fight for the gun starts

I don't like what some of these users are saying any more than the rest of you. I'm a black guy from the south and I go jogging often. That could have easily been me under different circumstances and that is frightening. These same people in this thread would be saying that same things about me if I was that man but who really cares what they think. At the end of the day, this is a dying message board on a site long past its due date. Stop taking this place and its user base so seriously. By wishing for these people to die, you're exhibiting a lot of negative energy that will surely carry over into your real life where things actually matter. CE doesn't matter.

Engaging with these kind of people just isn't worth it. Just explain to them kindly why they are wrong and if it doesn't work then find something else to do. Don't engage with them anymore.

Yes it does. For example, if i were Arbery I would have held my hands up in a non threatening manner and observed the men with guns, staying very still. If they were extremely aggressive, i may have dropped to my knees with my hands up. This act of submission would calm the situation much more effectively than fighting over the gun or physically attacking a man with a gun. Your position assumes he was going to be murdered no matter what, might as well fight for survival!
