She's got some talent, sure. Her Dangerous Woman album is actually quite good, as catchy pop music goes, but she doesn't exactly strike me as an "artist" with anything to really say, either.

It's a term for someone who seeks out problems there aren't there and wants to implement solutions that make no sense. It's not someone who simply seeks to right social wrongs, but someone who needs to develop an antagonist responsible for every evil in this world. I see it in a similar way to someone who eats a vegan diet vs someone who is peddling the church of veganism.
VERY well said.

It's obviously a combination of everything, but I don't like the mentality of focusing on things outside your control. There's a lot an individual can do to up their status.
I can see both sides of this. On one hand I was born into a bit of money and had the luxury of paying for college in full, out of pocket, as well as every car I've ever owned. The only loan I've ever taken out is on my house, which I did before I was 30. I have no idea what it's like to be in debt or wonder where my next meal is coming from. That said, I did still work hard to make a name for myself, and as a college-educated, upper-middle class person, I still cannot land a job that pays more than about $15 an hour. It's always, "oh, you didn't intern or never did this or that." Frankly, after a while, being told no no no so often when you are clearly qualified (sometimes overly so) becomes so disheartening that it makes you not want to try any longer. I get it. so even though I have a cushion a lot of people don't have, I'm still in kind of of the same boat

I'm in a weird place with this. Do I believe something happened? Honestly, I think that, yes, Michael Jackson probably had some boundary issues and that very well may have resulted in what modern society interprets as inappropriate behavior for a grown man. Whether it was sexual in nature, I dont pretend to know. Frankly, he always struck me as asexual more than anything else, so I like to believe that whatever behavior or activities which may have transpired behind closed doors he did not engage in with predatory or malicious intent. Not that that would justify or excuse any proven claim of pedophilia, obviously, but his maturity appeared to be stunted in such a way which genuinely blinded him to the fact that there are some things you just dont do, sleepovers and pillow fights with little Timmy among them.

First, just let me say that depression and anxiety are very real. I struggled with both quite a lot as a teenager, and though I have gotten better as an adult, I do still get the occasional anxious flare-up.

That said, I agree they can also be used as crutches. My husband, for example, will tell you he suffers from crippling anxiety, but as an observer it seems he's only anxious about someone stealing YouTube when he's not looking because he's addicted to his phone and struggles to keep a job for any length of time because he'd rather be at home in bed with it. It's a strange cycle of "what's causing what?" But I digress.

Of all time? Batman Returns. To me it embodies all the elements which make up a perfect film action, drama, humor, frights, romance, and much more. I also think its a great psychological study. Even as a 10 year-old kid back in 1992 I was fascinated by the concept of dual identities and split personalities, and was very intrigued by the thin line which separates genius and insanity, for both heroes and villains alike. I was especially drawn to Catwoman, a character who I feel is best portrayed as someone who is a bit cracked mentally, as opposed to other media where she is often depicted as an otherwise normal woman who simply happens to be a master thief. Even her very costume is a perfect metaphor for someone outwardly beautiful but coming apart at the seams a little more each day.

Only speaking from personal experience, I gotta go with Last of Us. Don't get me wrong, I do like it a lot, but I just didn't feel as emotionally invested for these characters as many others claimed to be. I kept waiting for the "punch in the gut" moment I kept hearing about but it never came, and then the game was over. Plus I had some nitpicks gameplay-wise; limited enemy types, confusing crafting, etc. So, still very good, but definitely overrated.

I also thought the last couple Assassins Creed games were actually underrated, Origins especially. I played it during my cancer treatment a couple years ago and it basically saved me from myself; I hadn't been so immersed in a world like that in a good long while.

I'm no expert on the matter by any means, but I agree with this. I feel like a threesome is something you experiment with before settling down into a monogamous relationships. I guess I feel like jealousy and insecurity will eventually chip away at you, no matter how comfortable you think you are with one another going into it. Or maybe I'm projecting, I don't know. But yeah, personally I would probably be offended if my now-husband even suggested it, as it would indicate that on some level he wasn't satisfied with our sex-life as it. But everyone is different.

Or that he didn't really mean that. Or that he was just trolling. Or that he meant it but it's not a big deal. Or that he meant it and it's a big deal but everyone else does it.

I guess I just have yet to see how the voice of the people has any influence whatsoever, or how any of our daily lives are truly affected by any of this. Plus it's slim picking where a viable Democratic candidate is concerned, anyway. "Anyone but Trump" is equally scary as him getting reelected, so frankly I'd just rather wash my hands of the whole business. I've earned the right to be apathetic, I feel.

And honestly, I kinda loved it. Even back in the 90s it was like this big store that time forgot that was still trying to stay modern, but failing. For example they were on their last legs at the start of the PS3/360 generation and they still had an N64 kiosk in the game section.

There was something kinda cool about shopping there
That's so funny to hear you say that. I've used "the store that time forgot" to describe Kmart as well, lol. The last one I know in my state closed maybe two years ago. Prices were always funny at Kmart; they could be crazy expensive on things like movies and food items but it was actually my go-to place for clothes, and you could hit the occasional jackpot with toys. As for the original question, no I don't see any issue with transsexualism. I can't relate to it personally and will plead ignorance about what exactly it means or the struggles it presents, but on the surface, as an idea, I'm not immediately inclined to think "Ew, gross" or anything like that.
