It will also speed up load times and make all menus on the PS4 faster. SSDs are expensive though. I linked the cheaper 500 GB model, which is still cheaper than buying a new PS4, and only a little more than the price of a new game. I have a 1 TB Samsung SSD, but those are considerably more expensive and seem to have recently gone up in price, possibly due to the virus. Your other alternative is this: https://amzn.to/2yyDKIC Either that one, or upgrade to the 1 TB model. Either way, you can also get the $12 hard drive enclosure that I linked to in my previous post, to use your spare HDD as extra storage. Even the faulty one could be used to simply store extra games. You also need a computer and a usb thumb drive to download the PS4s OS and transfer it to the new drive, once the new drive is installed. For a minimal financial risk, you could try buying another hard drive that isnt too big in size, 500GB - 1 TB max, replacing it, and if that doesnt work, you can also buy a 2.5 inch hard drive enclosure and use the new drive as extra storage instead. Sounds like you guys have some big time problems over there in Sweden. Good luck with all of that. What I find amusing, as an Eastern European (who lives in the U.S.), is that Norway doesnt have nearly as many of the problems that you guys have. Sounds like Norway has their shit together, while Sweden is vulnerable to a number of problems that other Europeans dont have to deal with. Of course, Norway has SOME of these issues, but not nearly as much as Sweden does. While its true that Sweden has a lot of Muslim immigrants these days, Sweden is around 70 percent Christian, and 1.5 percent Muslim.
