If all those GHZ callbacks are such unmovable staples of the Sonic series, where are they in any other game that doesnt have a location named Green Hill Zone? We havent had a Sonic game not play the nostalgia card since Colors Lost World literally tried to be Sonic 1 in 3D. The capsules, the GHZ tiles, all that. Sonic Forces also played the nostalgia card and got panned because its ass. Same goes for Sonic 4. Mania sold well because its good. Full stop.
