This is one of the reasons their prices are so low (besides working their employees to death), because smaller businesses do not receive the same tax cut benefits

do people unironically believe this

Why do you not believe it?

Small businesses can take advantage of the same tax breaks Amazon does. If a business loses money one year they can carry some of those losses forward to subsequent years to reduce their tax liability. Amazon is not special in any way with regards to taxes.

Amazon posted losses for years, if not decades. Why did they not take advantage of this until 2017?

He was fired before he hit the floor.

Lol love that quote. In the construction industry, you hear that phrase a lot (falling off a ladder at a height high enough to warrant a worker comp claim or worse)

The sources also dont mention it but Amazon paid $0 in federal income tax in 2018 (they actually received a credit of $129 million). This is one of the reasons their prices are so low (besides working their employees to death), because smaller businesses do not receive the same tax cut benefits

What the literal fuck are you on about? Do you think before you post? Did your English teacher make you read Karl Marx for the first time today? Do you want Jeff B to come to your house and bottle feed you, too?

This has nothing to do with capitalism or socialism. It has everything to do with a greedy CEO who cares more about profit than he does his employees.
