He says it became grindy at some point, but he also says that up until he got to that point he was avoiding the majority of battles. Wew lad. Amenadeel posted... Hell once upon a time they were gonna make dq9 a fun action rpg but the Japanese were actually in an uproar over that (can you believe it??!!) and insisted they change it back to a boring turn based Rpg. Even if it did have action RPG gameplay IX would have been shit.
