While Georgulas argued that James is actually a girl who likes to wear dresses and identifies as Luna, Mr. Younger said his ex-wife would, in his opinion, only show James love and affection when he would present as a girl. He also posted a video of James at just three years old telling Mr. Younger that mommy tells him hes a girl.

So let me get this straight: the mom abuses her son and ignores him unless he goes along with her delusion and pretends hes a girl.

He tells his father mommy says Im a girl and not I think Im a girl.

When given a choice, he goes to school as a boy.

I get that people on the moms side of this argument want to protect trans people, but this kid clearly isnt trans and isnt confused. Its his mom who is the issue. Trying to force a kid to be the opposite gender against his will, ironically enough, makes you just as bad as anyone else who is anti-trans.

If James were adamant about being a girl Id support him, and hell be able to make that choice for himself later if thats what he really wants. We shouldnt allow his abusive mom to make that choice for him, it could ruin his life.

The father is some religious crackpot who refuses to let Luna present as a girl, to the point of not keeping any girl clothes at home where the mother always has the option of boy or girl clothes. His "supporters" include some friends who met after the divorce, a pastor who met Luna like 3 times in passing, and a crazy journalist with an anti-transgender agenda mixed with Orthodox religion.

CPS was called on the mother, and confirmed with Luna's brother, Luna's teacher, and Luna herself (in private) that she wanted to present as a girl and never felt like she was pressured. A pediatrician as well as a therapist specializing in LGBTQ+ issues diagnosed Luna with gender dysphoria.

There is 0 evidence that the mother is forcing this upon her daughter, nor is she seeking fame or virtue or whatever shes been accused of. She has faced death threats and harassment resulting in her deleting her Twitter. She has released a single public statement begging for people to leave her and Luna alone. There is much, much more evidence pointing to the father being a child abuser, rejecting Luna based on his religious bigotry and not some legitimately concerned father worried about some liberal agenda.

Hormone blockers aren't even on the table. Their current treatment is allow Luna to present as herself and wait until she's 9 or so to even consider hormone blockers.

The story was broke by Christian conservatives who spun misinformation before the trial, and the original story was passed by right wing media sources and pundits. That's why so many people are running with misinformation.

I recommend watching this video, the creator looked into all the sources and journalists, videos of the father's speeches, the doctors and therapist involved in the case, and court testimony if the other stuff isn't objective enough.

It wasnt intentional, its because a random, biased YouTube video doesnt prove anything nor is it factual. Thats why everyone ignored it. Besides, most of what was stated in that post is fake news.

Its so easy to catch these people in a lie. If you go read the actual news articles about this, you very quickly learn that even the kids psychologist gave him a choice... asked him if he wanted to be James or Luna, and he chose James. Thats when the mom went batshit and tried to get sole custody, because he wasnt doing what she wanted him to. But sure, shes giving him a choice by forcing him to choose what she wants.

Thats fake news. The mom is forcing him. If she was giving him a choice... why ask the judge to prevent the father from calling his son by his actual name? Shouldnt she not care? Meanwhile the father gave him the option of being Luna or James and he chose James.

The father is the only one giving him a choice, and he chooses to be male. I dont get how people are so misinformed about this? The mother apparently wanted a daughter and started to transition him after he said he wanted to be Starfire from teen titans... sorry but thats not a valid reason to transition your kid.

It's really, REALLY sad that the people who actually care about the welfare and mental health of a 7 year old boy are being labeled as trolls by people who want to advance their agenda. The science is on our side, too; even if he is confused and thinks he might be a girl, there's a greater than 80% chance he'll revert back to affirming as male.

Why not let James decide once he's a little older? Shouldn't it be HIS choice, and not his mom's?

Even trans people have come out to say this boy isn't trans and you don't become trans by having a parent "force" you into it... that's literally child abuse. It depends where you live. I live in the city which is probably closer to 40-45% black, if not more.

I quit because the game is unbalanced and a chore to do instead of being fun.
