Never understood why so many vets get overly triggered by this and stolen valor then post these obnoxious videos of themselves harassing and assaulting the people. I understand it if some jerk is doing it to gain some monetary benefit or pick up chicks, but 90% of the time its either kids are in JROTC or someone in their family gave them the uniform. Or someone who's not mentally all there yet loves military stuff.

What job requires you to shave your head?

It's required for the duration of the fire academy, FDNY, until graduation. However, unlike the military, im still living out in the real world after training hours and not isolated on a base with other recruits 24/7.

Thats even worse, Can't have that for the next 22 and a half years. Atleast the shaved head is for the duration of training.

Had to shave my head completely for my new job, and I look fucking ridiculous now. Can't believe I gotta stay like this for 6 months. How do bald people pull this look off??

Yeah, no. That's not how being in the military works. Most dudes I served with would not be happy to be deployed just to be deployed. You're tour of duty has to mean something to you.

Then we most certainly have been in different branches and MOS fields

Dunno what's with all the Gamestop hate, its literally just a store to buy video games. Don't like their trade-in prices, simply don't trade-in and find your own way to sell your used games.

With that being said, this is the only solution for them to somewhat salvage their company given the future of video games going fully digital and subscription-based. However, most hobby shops and "hang out" stores don't generate a lot of revenue and never last too long, especially in today's era. Society is too anti-social for corporate hobby shops and kids/people would rather sit home and play online.

15 months is light. If I were him, I'd be ecstatic that was all I were getting. He deserves years behind bars. Sentences for this should get increasingly longer until this stops.

Well most successful would have to be Minecraft followed by Fortnite

The actual game is in a much better state now and is pretty good. However the hype and player base is long gone now. PoGo far exceeded its purpose when in launched, it was another cultural phenomenon at the time. Ill never play it again cause I dont have time to run around outside and its simply not as fun when everyone isnt playing anymore. but Im glad to have lived through that PoGo summer 3 years ago.

Halo CE was extremely well polished and brought FPSs and multiplayer shooters to light.

Halo 2 was revolutionary, it defined online matchmaking, almost solely responsible for the creation of eSports, and pushed the FPS boom into full effect.

Halo 3 had the biggest launch of its time. It still holds record breaking numbers. The advertising was every where for Halo 3, everyone was hyped for it. It was really a special time to be alive and be apart of the launch of Halo 3 and the online community.

Counting both Sword and Shield as two separate brand new games is stretch. Weve known since 1996 that having two games released with very minor differences is just a money making scheme. Were only okay with it because its tradition now

tbh the only bad ones I think were the Night King and Euron. Night King felt extremely lackluster and Euron's made no sense at all why it was included the way it was. All the rest of the deaths felt extremely rushed, but that's more of a pacing issue with ending the show with 6 episodes. I felt like the way the rest of the characters die was sorta appropriate given their backstory and history. The fact that Cersei and Jaime died together was the notable aspect, being crushed by rubble isn't.

This is nothing new and happens to all shows with 6/7/8/9+ seasons. I cant think of a single show with that many seasons where this hasnt happened. Production and special effects greatly improve each season due to the increased budget, new technology and larger fan base. However, its always at the cost of unnecessarily extending the show, usually with worse writing too. Lost, dexter, walking dead come to mind. All still very entertaining shows, just didnt end as strong as they started story wise.

Breaking bad was perfect. Ended with 5 seasons. Not saying GOT should have had less seasons, I would actually appreciate more. But regardless, I just always feel this is inevitable with long running shows.
