| OliviaWildThing 10/21/19 8:25:21 PM #1 | My last job was in consulting and it was fast paced Now I work for the gov, overall I like it a lot more...but boy is it slow Initially I was doing about 4 hours of work a day which is perfect. But last week and today I've done about 30 min of work each day. Whenever I talk to people and I ask them what they've been working on, they always give me a sly smile and say "I've been keeping busy". If I press further they'll describe a task to me that literally takes 30 min and make it sound like they took all day to do it However, whenever I go to other people's cubicles they seem to always be working...emphasis on "seem"...maybe they just always have a spreadsheet open? Are people actually doing work around here?! |
