B, as A would cost the company more money, if employee is salary. My employer always goes the cheap route and always took B approach when this situation occurred. This happened 3 times in the 5 years I have worked at my current job.

Both? ethernet to a router which is connected wirelessly to a router in another room. All of my devices are connected by ethernet in my room to the one router.

Check engine light on?
Dirty air filter?
Dirty mass air flow sensor?
Plugged fuel filter (if car has one, may not)?
Dirty or worn spark plugs?
Weak or faulty ignition coil(s)?
Failing O2 sensor(s)?
Faulty PCV?
Vacuum leak?
Dirty or faulty throttle body / idle air control or idle speed control?
Dirty or faulty injectors?
Excessive carbon build up in EGR valve and EGR cooler (If engine has EGR system)?

List goes on for causes of low RPM, stalling, misfires.

You need to clean anywhere the ants are. Their is some kind of food source that you are not aware of. When you find it, clean it up and put an ant trap or some kind of bait for ants in it's place. Follow them and find where they are getting in and place some more ant traps or bait.

Make sure to block the traps in a way to not block the ants, but to block the pets.

Then you just have to wait a couple days or so. When the old food source is gone they will go to the traps and take the bait inside back to the colony. Eventually they will be killed and gone.

This has worked for my mom and my dad.

My mom once had dog food that spilled and one kibble was hidden under some object. The kitchen was swarming with ants. I followed the method above and they were gone 3 days later.

Also make sure to use fresh new ant traps as they tend to expire after 3 months from open or purchase.

Then do a thorough cleaning of the place after they are gone.
