Already frustrated since no one apparently knows how this pie, with pieces already cut from it, got here, I verbally release my frustrations. "How can NO ONE know whether this is a sweet potato pie or a pumpkin pie? SOMEONE had to have brought it and SOMEONE had to have taken the missing pieces." Then someone always goes "Calm down, is it really that big of a deal?" Completely appalled, I shout "Yes, Margaret, it absolutely is a big deal that this rogue pie apparently just appeared here and no one seems to care." Then everyone ignores me, so I decide to take a small piece and taste it to find out if it is a sweet potato pie or a pumpkin pie once and for all. The result is the same: Every year it is a sweet potato pie. I gag, spit it out onto the floor, curse everyone and wish a plague on their houses, and then get a piece of apple pie. --- What are you waiting for? You're free. |
