Also some other observations I forgot to type. As I said Fox is pretty sick. He's a glass cannon type of character, he's only 3 units heavier than Puff IIRC and has a pretty exploitable and linear recovery. On the plus side he's a very explosive character able to rack up damage in one interaction.

Now playing Fox for the 2nd time went a lot smoother than the first time using him, that's when viewmaster got fed up with Puff. But I have some bad habits like dash attacking your shield too much. This cost me a lot of stocks because I ended up getting up smashed or back thrown a lot of times because I wasn't respecting the shield, being too predictable sometimes recovering off stage and I ate plenty of fsmashes at the ledge because of it, bad use of side b and the reflector, and generally not landing Fox's kill moves and that led to 170%+ situations. On the flip side I've noticed your parry game got a lot better since last time. 99% i parry it wasn't intentional lol

Anyhow I'm open all day today if anyone wants to play. I want to practice Fox some more with Inkling and a bit of Isabelle too.

Oh and roller is best used to catch landings or during tech chases. Usually if you see me roll away and you're not too far you can net yourself a bury. Also useful for recovery since you get an extra jump and horizontal distance.

Your right that's why I was timing my jumps but I screwed up the timing more than once. Also i don't know how I did that fair drag down into jablock downsmash. I'm terrible at jab locks lmao

Also backthrow was killing earlyish because Fox is one of the lightest characters in game. Usually you can kill midweights around 150%ish at the very tip of the ledge. Plus I don't know if the blast zone is different for smashville.

Your squid is pretty nice too.it stings a little losing to your character with your preferred costume lmao Your juggling game is pretty nice and so is the bomb usage. You do whiff grabs sometimes but I do that too all the time. You should play the character more. Also I love the fact that you actually edgeguard. Almost all the local Inkling players here let you recover for free since they don't do it. A while back I almost beat one such player when he would let Cloud recover for free, that's sad.

I was gonna try the ditto once even thought I hate it but it's cool. Very fun games all around, now I get to feel Inkling's bs

That's great. Smaller and unranked tournaments are good to get secondary practice. The only time I've won money in this game was playing in a 10 man tourney and I was playing Cloud when I was trying to secondary him except for one guy who insisted I play the ditto with him.

Palutena is a bitch in the sense that she's really good at oppressing the majority of the cast and keeping them down. She has an intangible back air and dash attack, I think, and her grab range is kinda ridiculous. From what I've seen Wario goes even with her. I think she's also one of the worst, if not the worse, mu for Isabelle according to the very few top Isabelle players except for one who thinks Mario and the Chus are worse.

And Wario is a really good character, possibly top 5 in this game. It could be beneficial down the road to keep practicing him.

Also forgot to say this last night but watch the way you guys land sometimes. I was able to grab some of you guys like 2-3 times in a row because you chose to land a very predictable manner like trying to land with dair when it wouldn't connect. If I was playing Inkling that would be a free bury if I inclined to use that option.

Also Ace are you planning on trying to main Wario again or are you gonna stick with Puff?

I think Wario has kill confirms off up tilt into waft. Plus you probably get a full waft and half charged one per match and with Wario's air mobility I don't think he has trouble camping.

He's like a better puff I've heard. Similar air movement while being heavy and having a kill move that compliments his kit. With Wario you always start with 2 stocks instead of 3

The key is playing patient since GnW kinda plays his own game. He wants you to be aggresive and approach him.
