Kids can be influenced easily, especially by parents. So a video with the behind the scenes context is not viable evidence. The same would apply if she was saying she wants to be a girl. That's why we refer to experts that are trained to get that context and figure out what the child wants, as well as determining what influences there are on kids. They are an unbiased and relevant source of information.

The father is some religious crackpot who refuses to let Luna present as a girl, to the point of not keeping any girl clothes at home where the mother always has the option of boy or girl clothes. His "supporters" include some friends who met after the divorce, a pastor who met Luna like 3 times in passing, and a crazy journalist with an anti-transgender agenda mixed with Orthodox religion.

CPS was called on the mother, and confirmed with Luna's brother, Luna's teacher, and Luna herself (in private) that she wanted to present as a girl and never felt like she was pressured. A pediatrician as well as a therapist specializing in LGBTQ+ issues diagnosed Luna with gender dysphoria.

There is 0 evidence that the mother is forcing this upon her daughter, nor is she seeking fame or virtue or whatever shes been accused of. She has faced death threats and harassment resulting in her deleting her Twitter. She has released a single public statement begging for people to leave her and Luna alone. There is much, much more evidence pointing to the father being a child abuser, rejecting Luna based on his religious bigotry and not some legitimately concerned father worried about some liberal agenda.

Hormone blockers aren't even on the table. Their current treatment is allow Luna to present as herself and wait until she's 9 or so to even consider hormone blockers.

The story was broke by Christian conservatives who spun misinformation before the trial, and the original story was passed by right wing media sources and pundits. That's why so many people are running with misinformation.

I recommend watching this video, the creator looked into all the sources and journalists, videos of the father's speeches, the doctors and therapist involved in the case, and court testimony if the other stuff isn't objective enough.

Well that was just what prompted the introspection. I have unhealthy views on not just promiscuity but sex overall. Like I said, these days I find it disgusting for some reason

But your issues towards women seem a lot more deep-seated. I'm not going to ask you to divulge anything, but the typical kinds of questions you'd get at in therapy would be if you were abused as a child, if you might have any issues with sexual/gender identity, or if you experienced/witnessed some traumatic event at a young age that warped you (which you may not even remember). Basically trying to get to the root cause of why you have these feelings so you can begin putting them into the proper context.
