Streaming services keep spawning and fragmenting everything into oblivion. I'd rather just go to yail for piracy.

Not sitting a lot is probably the best thing for my back pain whenever it crops up as I work seated frequently. Getting moving for some portion of the day does wonders.

I've become a little less cynical about sweeping change in the government. As much as I hate that Trump is in office, he is proof that the monolith of the federal government is able to shift radically in at least a few areas in the modern era. I think this gives me some hope that change in a direction I'd approve of is in fact plausible whereas prior to his election it was just slight variations of the same centrists in power and I'd felt that it would perpetuate forever.

I kinda dig the experiences a motor vehicle is able to give you, but ultimately it's just a tool so I don't really love my vehicle even if a lot of positive memories have formed around it. It's mainly a tool that I've used to obtain certain goals- but once it becomes a tool I've no need/substantial want for I'll have no qualms selling it off (fairly soon).

It's been a little while since I've depended on a vehicle for my livelihood but if you're in that bucket a reliable vehicle is nice. In my experience true reliability seems elusive at best with so many moving parts regardless of make and model. On a more positive note I think full electric drive-train reliability will quickly usurp ICE reliability in the near future if it hasn't already.
