Sorry I bet that would cost way more than the car is worth, huh? Not to mention it would take forever and who knows how well it would work after repairs like that. I bet you anything I'd have at least ONE problem with the lights or trunk getting stuck or something like that. Why do we even let old people drive? They don't pay attention, they can't see at night, they have slow reaction times, and they've forgotten a bunch or rules and laws. I cried a little, too. Yeah... I think that's what bothers me most... With her car, I felt like she was still with me in the passenger seat keeping me company and watching over me, in a sense. It just makes me feel like I'm losing pieces of her little by little. What's next? The springs blow out in the couch I got from her? A table breaks? The television I got from her was blown out last summer due to power outages/surges. It's like the universe wants to pull me away from her... --- |

The driver behind him had a dash cam running and caught everything. No injuries since it was my work truck and he hit me on the passenger side in a little Honda, but I was definitely shaking. Other than that, I'm waiting for the Adjuster to see my car and make a decision about if it can be fixed or if it's totalled and everything. In the meantime, I have a rental car to get to and from places for the next few days so that's something. Honestly, I just want all of this to be over as soon as possible. It's really stressful and expensive and time consuming, but I guess that's all obvious. Anyway, things have to turn around, right? It can't get much worse... right? --- |

Unless your hair is deep deep DEEP brown or black, I think it starts blonde because your body hasn't produced all its melanin yet so it darkens as you age. Unless, as mentioned, you have the genetic markers for dark hair and usually a dark complexion to match from birth, like if your parents are both really dark. --- |

And with the experience I'll be getting with this new job I could get an even better job in the same field that pays even more. I'm done with retail. I've been doing retail for about 3 years now and I'm sick of it. I do have confidence, but screaming back at someone isn't necessary to show it. Getting a better life than them is a better way to show it. I'll be the one making money hand over fist while she works two jobs into her 50s just to stay afloat because she has no other marketable skills other than pushing buttons on a cash register. While she keeps whining about her car breaking down, I'll be the one leasing a brand new car and rolling around in style. I'm confident I'm moving up in the world while she stays down in the pits of customer service. --- |
