You just get told what to do and you build bonds with the other characters despite never saying anything to them. In that area its a really nice neighborhood and like a 15 minute Uber to Detroit. Being in actual Detroit, if you aren't in the middle of downtown/Campus Martius area then there isn't really any point in living down there.
