I don't particularly feel knowledgeable about sports and the advantages trans athletes (MtF or FtM) have over ciswomen, but I do think that we're at a point where people aren't consistent
For instance, there will never be a time where I can train and be as fast as Usain Bolt. He has a biological advantage over me resulting in that I'll never be able to beat him. Top athletes around the world have tried and are unable to do it. Does that mean we need a new category for people not blessed by genetics? Of course not

Or for a more recent example: Michael Phelps and Caster Semenya. Semenya has more testosterone than the average woman and was barred from competing in Women's Events at the Olympics. Meanwhile, Phelps produces less lactic acid and as such does not get tired as easily as the rest of us mortals. They both have genetic quirks compounded with their years of training, resulting in them dominating their respective fields. Why is one allowed while the other is not?

I don't know what she is talking about

Ellen Pao spoke to a group of people made up with men and women. A female founder was happy that Pao made eye contact with her.
The idea is that for a lot of people, when they're presenting to a mixed group they tend to look at the men more than the women. Pao is highlighting this issue because it's a simple one to fix that isn't asking much from people.
People who are upset with her tend to think that their experiences trump that of the many women who feel ignored in mixed groups.

They only ask about the most basic and popular things, which isn't true for other categories.

It really is. They ask the most basic questions where if you have read just one book about it, you should know everything in the category.
It's good television. It lets the average viewer feel like they are smart

I swear people whining about Season 8 must have some extreme form of ADHD where they can't follow plots for more than 5 minutes.

It might have been rushed, but Dany turning into the mad queen has been foreshadowed for a long time now. Heck even in Season 1 she showed signs of being a psychopath. When she bought the unsullied she proved to be a bit of an underhanded dick as well.

She had been flirting with wanting to burn the capitol for a while, and seemed quite reluctant to agree to stop the siege if the bells rang so when the bells actually rang and she didn't stop the siege, it makes sense. And even in that episode, when Jon refuses to fuck her, she says "Let it be fear then".

I don't know why anyone acts like it was some shock that the bells set her off. If you followed the plot of the same episode it happened in, it wasn't a shock or a surprise.

The only way anyone can say Dany turning into the mad queen was not set up, was not foreshadowed, or came out of the clear blue is if you are incapable of following plot for more than 5 minutes at a time. At which point I recommend watching the WWE because they don't follow plot for more than 5 minutes either.

The issue is not with the detractors attention spans or even with various plot points, it's the writing. Everyone figured Dany would go full Mad Queen at some point, especially after her time in Mereen.
Not our fault you settle for slime covered shit.

I'd like to play it but I'd wait for a complete edition unless the DLC is worth the $25, or not at all worth it
