I think what I hate the most is we're morethan likely getting the rest of the dex in future Gen 8 games.

They've been getting worse and worse about their first game of the generation being unfinished and then releasing a superior version two years later amd charging full price for it. It's a horrible move that screws over fans who bought the originals. Granted this has been a tactic from the very beginning, but I feel like now it's at a point they're using it to make more $$$

Tangela and Lickitung are the two that come to mind for me.

The anime reminds me of Krabby/Kingler
Horsea/Seadra has Kingdra but on their own they're pretty forgettable. Dewgong and Lorelei go hand in hand with me

Someone sell me on one of the last four characters, I want to keep saving but I barely have an opinion on any of them and I like this idea more than picking a number out of red mage's hat.

Kefka's boss theme is so well crafted that it perfectly matches his character at the point. The first two acts mirror both his ruthlessness and impish nature. While the third shows his majestic ascension into godhood, but despite his holy appearance he's nothing more than a sadistic clown underneath. Shown through some outstanding organ music and his own theme darkly playing underneath it.

They've done great with Star Wars.

Eh the movies themselves are fine I guess. My main issue is that they have this huge universe to explore and create unique stories with. Yet every single movie that's been released since the revival has been heavily reliant on past characters and stories. Hell even their Disney+ shows have been too. I think their trying to hard to cater to nostalgia when they could just as easily create something new and fresh in the universe.

I think that they spent 8 figures on market research and audience testing. And the decision on this ending was made based on that, not based on artistic vision.

Actually didn't the Russo brothers directly state they were going to put it at the beginning of Endgame initially, but thought it worked better to make Infinity War a contained movie by putting it at the end. If anything that's the exact opposite of what you're saying

I definitely get a lot of these, but I also feel like the list is a little too reliant on recency bias and what's popular now and doesn't take into account a lot of the pre 2015 stuff. Some notable missing omissions are Arkham City, Tomb Raider, South Park Stick of Truth, BioShock Infinite, Xenoblade.

The man's allowed to not like superhero movies, but to sit there and act like they're all the same is blatantly incorrect as well as ignorant on his part.

I agree with a lot of what he says about film franchises all feeling the same, but if anything superhero movies are the ones that are actually starting to break the mold. Movies like Black Panther, Infinity War and Joker are all trying something different playing with different concepts. Hell even stuff like Nolan's Batman trilogy covers plenty of themes and character studies.

Under normal circumstances I'd agree with him, but he's specifically attacking a single genre. I think all romance movies feel the same, but that doesn't change the fact that they're still considered art and some do have really compelling characters and themes.

The first time I saw From Dusk Til Dawn I was like 12 or 13 and was browsing channels. It came up on one of the movie channels, I read the description and turned to my Dad and was like that sounds ridiculous. He laughed and said that's a great movie let's watch it. It's been one of my favorite movies ever since.

I'm just going to wait until 'Ultra Sword and Shield' or DPPt remakes.

X/Y was bare bones and I still haven't been able to get invested in S/M. It feels like Game Freak realeases a subpar game at the start of a generation then makes a far superior one later on. So I'll just wait til those come out.

I probably don't have much right to weigh in on this but I do feel like FBike/Burke have been pretty shady the whole contest making it look like they wanted something to go down. Plus after the incident I don't think he owned up or apologized about it.

But that's just my two cents I can really see both angles on this

Red XIII was to be my backup character for when Auron went out. I'm glad he made the top 5 as that was my highest hope for him in this iteration of SMFFFC, but I'm not really fond of the cost of achieving my stretch goal.
