| Mr Lasastryke 10/22/18 10:05:40 AM #52 | i do think corrik is onto something here. it seems like in private chatrooms related to board 8 some people are, at times, a lot more honest than on the board. while i can't say much about the discord as i don't go there, i remember back in the day i made the mistake of searching for my username in the AIM board 8 chat and saw a lot of vitriol about me that i didn't see on the board. and no, this wasn't because i was "ignoring what people said about me on the board" as i'm very much aware of that. i don't particularly care as i'm not demanding that people who don't like me say shit about me to my face. but i don't get why there apparently always has to be a weird shadow world to board 8 where people say what they REALLY think. note that i'm not necessarily saying those people corrik quoted were all talking behind his back. like, i don't think veryinsane's statement on the discord that corrik isn't fun to play mafia with is a super controversial thing that he would never say on the board or anything. i'm moreso speaking generally. --- Geothermal terpsichorean ejectamenta |
