At 3 weeks it can still vary quite a bit in terms of centiles. I know it's common behaviour for excited parents, but definitely don't try to plan the kid's life around him being tall or anything.

90th centile for height isn't NBA-tall either. Most of those dudes are >98

TopicEpstein flew to Virgin Islands with 11 and 12 year old girls in 2018
Sonic Cannon

The relevant excerpt:

An air traffic controller told the U.S. Marshals Service she saw Jeffrey Epstein get off his plane with girls as young as 11 on two occasions in 2018.

The controller, who worked at the Cyril E. King Airport in the U.S. Virgin Islands for a year, said she saw Epstein disembark his plane with two white girls who appeared to be 11 to 12 years old. On a second occasion, the controller recalled seeing Epstein leave his plane with a girl who looked to be 16 to 18 and of mixed race.

In the interview, the controller said she used binoculars to spot Epstein from the airport control tower, which was about 50 yards away from the convicted sex offenders plane. Epstein owned his own island, St. James, in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The sightings happened between June or July and November of 2018, according to the controller, who sat for an interview with a deputy U.S. Marshal in July days after Epsteins arrest in New York on sex trafficking charges.

It's a pretty loose accusation; we're essentially relying on one person's estimation of age from a year ago, at 50 yards. The man's story is disturbing as hell, but this only really serves to build a narrative, rather than any solid lead to investigate.

I mean, my actual opinion is that you can have 1 or the other of:

A) Secure, reliable online voting
OR
B) Fully anonymous voting

If you don't care about anonymity, it should be quite possible to do an online vote which the user can then log back into the system and confirm what has been recorded against their name. Some places in the world do this for things like a local election or a referendum, but not for a general national election.

A woman I work with had worn long sleeves year round because her condition was severe and she found no relief from it. She started using something called Emu Oil (Emu Cream?) and had been doing so for a year, it's over the counter and can be ordered easily online, and she said it was life changing for her and it cleared up about 98% of it. She wears short sleeves during the summer now and you really can hardly notice anything on her arms.

Just something I thought i'd toss out there, I know little to nothing about it but it worked very well for her.

Assuming this is for eczema, emu oil is an oil/emoilient just like any other, and should work ok. Like any similar product, the key is applying it very frequently - 4-6x a day ideally. For psoriasis, moisturisers just prevent flaking and cracking, but won't make the plaques go away.

The endless stream of brand names in this topic makes me a bit sad. The marketing/advertising is real, I guess.

There are no generics for a shit ton of medications. Advertising has nothing to do with it. You either get it from the source or you don't get it.

Generic name is still preferable though, since it's consistent across different countries and allows the reader to know what drug class it is at a glance.

On topic: Dupilimab dopesn't really appear to justify its enormous price tag. It works vs placebo at least, but there's only been one clinical trial that compares it to any kind of other treatment (topical corticosteroids), which had only 31 participants and was powered only to assess adverse events (not benefit) in the first 29 days of treatment.

I strongly doubt this. Most of the best ones, including basically all of the multiplats, have since been ported to a curren gen system (The Last of Us, Uncharted series, God of War, Ni No Kuni, Kingdom Hearts HD Remix, Heavy Rain)

The remaining ones that come to mind (not poted to PC or current gen) include:
- Demon's Souls
- Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection
- Nier (also on 360)
- Jak and Daxter trilogy
- Ratchet and Clank games + HD trilogy (although I prefer the PS4 game)

Also, I would recommend not buying the Batman Arkham games on PS3. They have been remastered for modern systems, and the 360 version was better anyway.

If you want to abolish tipping, you need to be prepared for full service restaurant prices to skyrocket and quality of service to drop significantly.

Right now, I usually run 8-10 servers a shift and our PPA(Per Person Average) is about $15. For ease of math, we'll assume 10 servers making $2.23, $8000 in sales, and $1000 in labor dollars total for a day. So we have about 533 customers in that day.

Now for our purposes, we ignore the non-server pay. That won't change. But we are open from 11 to 10. So that is 11 hours at 22.30/hr in labor, or $245.30 total.

Current minimum wage is 7.25, so we will assume that servers get bumped up to that. That means my total amount spent on server pay is now $797.50 (An increase of $552.20). Now this is over a 50% increase in total pay which is now $1552.20

Before, we were running a 12.5% labor. To maintain that, we need to increase sales by $4,417.60 to $12,417.60. Assuming we don't get any more customers than normal, we would need a ticket average of $23.30, or $8.30 more than it currently is, a 55% increase in price. Now we can mitigate this cost increase by cutting staffing levels, however this is limited by minimal staffing levels for service. But it will impact service times and quality.

I should also note, my average server pulls in about $16/hr just in tips... <_< So they would take a massive pay cut...

While this is good perspective, there are 2 important things to consider:

1) Tipping isn't going to disappear overnight just because minimum wage laws no longer make an exception for it. It's unlikely your servers would actually experience a pay cut in reality.
2) The rest of the world manages to staff and operate restaurants just fine without the waitstaff wages being offloaded directly onto customers rather than the employer. Prices don't seem obviously higher either.
