A caricature of what people think "nerds" act like dialed to 11 and a laugh track set to the minimalist setting which goes off randomly during conversations. Oh absolutely. It's my dad's favorite sitcom and I know for a fact he doesn't know what any of the references mean, he's just laughing at them being dorks. Half the time he comments on it at family stuff it's just "oh that Sheldon is such a goof!" while he's laughing. --- SIG |
