McCormack planned to take Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, give them a Fable twist and drop them in "this kind of weird fucked up London environment". "And that was going to be Fable 4, and it would be darker and grittier. And because it was R-rated it would have the prostitutes and the humour. I was like, man, this is going to be fucking brilliant, and everybody was really into it." Well, not everyone. Rumors are Playground Games (Forza Horizon series) are working on it now. Just she just does.. doesn't discount her being a Mary Sue. Most of the thugs on there most likely had hard life too. And yet she is just better than them. This isn't like Batman were we are told about all his years of training under Masters. So yea a Mary Sue. No, not a Mary Sue. As you said, they've probably lived hard lives themselves. That doesn't mean, however, that just because she beats them, it doesn't mean she's just plain better than them. We are shown that Rey is counting off the days inside the downed AT-AT that she's been there. During that time, she has trained herself, as has been shown. Really the woman card. However let's look deeper into this . She had no claim to BB. And no reason to the try to stop other person from taking him. She just knew something was up, and the guy just handed him over like she was owned BB. Then she is so good she doesn't take food to protect this little Robot. Yes, I'm pulling the woman card, because you wouldn't be saying this if it was a man. It's not called being a Mary Sue, it's called being a decent person and helping someone in need. So you are down playing her wins down. Tell me who did better stopping the Rathtar Finn or the Rey. Who did better in hand to hand combat Finn or Rey, who did better at flying Finn or Rey. We don't see Finn fight hand-to-hand until Takodana, we don't see Finn fly himself period (both were done by either Poe or Rey), and Finn can hardly stop the Rathtar without any kind of weapon, can he? So even you know that was crap that she knew how to the freaking mind trick. Don't put words in my mouth. I stand by my previous explanation. They have a force pull battle. It blew up and not only was she able to recover faster then him. She was able to recover first, steal a ship , beat up with Chewie and blow up some Tie fighters. The only good guy to do anything in that battle of note. So, because she woke up faster, because she blew up a few TIE Fighters, she's a Mary Sue. Genius! /s I have counted, she killed more of them or the same amount. She saved Kylo when he was being choked. She kicked 3 of them down with one kick. "She kicked 3 down at once, she's such a Mary Sue!" Bullshit. Kylo killed more than she did, or did you forget to actually watch the damn fight? Kylo killed 5 (yes, I'm counting him igniting the Skywalker saber through the guard's head as his, even though Rey threw it to him), while Rey killed 4 and struggled against one of them, while Kylo held his own against 3 at once. If she was a Mary Sue, she would have taken them all on by herself. It's crystal clear who the better one is here. Han didn't do all that other stuff better then Luke and Ben. He has done better than Rey, though, as has been shown in the OT, Solo, and other works. Well not by you since our reasoning wasn't great. Did she save Finn Yep. She beat the Monster . While we are speaking about Finn , she also beat him. He was taken at 5 just like her and literally trained. How, exactly, did she beat the rathtar? She released the damn thing herself to begin with. And as for Finn, he wasn't even trying to fight. He ran, she flanked, and smacked him with her staff. Still not a Mary Sue. Really you are suggesting reading someone mind is the same that as controlling people. The leaps that people will take to defend this character blows my mind. And the leaps and bounds folks like you go through to say she's a Mary Sue boggles the mind. Yes it is comparable. He was at such as bad state he would not been able to Win. Rey wins in the first movie , and the second movie. No they aren't, either. Again, Kylo wasn't trying to kill her (watch the fight between him and Rey; she's constantly on the run from him), and again, like Luke, she only won because she opened herself up to the Force. Addendum: Kylo took a shot to the side from Chewie's bowcaster and was bleeding out in the snow. And how did she beat him in the second film when they didn't even "fight"? They struggled over the lightsaber and broke it. But I suppose you mean "She regained consciousness before he did/didn't even get knocked out by the explosion, thus she's better, thus a Mary Sue!", right? /s And there's more: rewatch the fight between them and the guards. She struggled against one, while Kylo was holding his own against multiple guards at once. "Oh, but she saved him from the last one, so she's a Mary Sue!" Suuuure, and Han's a Marty Stu for saving Luke's life at the end of ANH. /s Everything you've mentioned can be pulled apart. You have no arguements, no valid reasons, nothing. Both have experience in piloting. The difference is that Luke didn't have a ship available to him that could go off-world; Rey, however, knew of one available, even though it wasn't her first choice. Incorrect. BOTH were firing the guns while, IIRC, Chewie and Leia flew. Rey only "aimed" for Finn because the gun got damaged and couldn't be turned to fire on the last TIE Fighter and Finn wouldn't have been able to get to the other cannon before they sustained heavy damage or were blown up. If shutting the door at the last moment counts as "Rey beats Hentai Monster". These aren't even comparable. Now you're grasping. As you said, Luke doesn't fight Vader in ANH, so again, not comparable. Luke also has no known combat training before leaving Tattooine, while Rey learned to defend herself by herself on Jakku. Also, Kylo wasn't trying to kill her, what with him saying "You need a teacher. I could show you the ways of the Force." She only wins after opening herself up to the Force, just as Luke only wins when he blows up the Death Star by doing the same damn thing. It's not like she got the idea from Kylo using the Force to get inside her head and she did the same thing when she fought back during that scene./s "Say, if the Force can be used to mess with someone's mind, maybe I can use that to escape!" And Luke got off a one-in-a-million shot in ANH that killed hundreds of thousand, if not millions, of Imperial personnel. As far as I'm concerned, he's been redeemed. You CAN NOT transfer every single pokemon transferred to Pokemon Home into Sword and Shield. Only pokemon THAT APPEAR IN THE GALAR REGION POKEDEX can be transferred from Pokemon Home to Sword and Shield. --- I only play in Ubers and Anything Goes Don't complain if you lose when using OU or lower tier pokemon. The moment Pokemon Bank was released for X/Y and was updated for S/M/US/UM, you could transfer all your 'mons to the games.
