The Niflheim emperor is set up to be such a cool character in Kingsglaive and they don't use him at all in XV even off-screening him on top of that

Yea, its a bad movie overall, but the last 15-minute action scene is one of the most amazing things I've seen and made me so disappointed playing the actual game afterward since nothing nearly as cool or satisfying happens in XV the game.

Decide on a core team of three with a flex spot for story. My core was Ophilia (who I started), Therion, Tressa. Then just do the chapters in level order and make the most of the tools available to you in combat. Thats how I did it and never felt like I needed to stop and grind. Often had to take on a few bosses a few times with different strategies, but I never felt like winning was impossible.

Padding issues aside I think the comedy pops better with the amazing voice actors they've got going on. And the music is great.
