Countless games during the NES and SNES era. Nintendo was pretty strict back then, so you had things like each castlevania game having topless statues altered, medusa altered, the cross edited to look less like a cross, a level having green goo instead of red blood in super castlevania 4, etc. etc.

When it comes to more modern games, I guess tales of berseria could count....it had a short scene at the beginning of the game altered. (although imo the altered scene the western versions got looks just as bad, if not worse then the original scene, lol).

You got a port, or no? My doctors implanted a port in me so that it would be much easier to administer medicine. I've got really hard veins, and they're really difficult to locate for most people. If I ever have to get a regular IV, it usually takes roughly thirty minutes or so. They gotta bring in warm towels, extra tourniquets, another nurse to help locate, and more often than not a machine that makes your skin infrared so they can see the veins buried so deep.

My doctor has recommended it at some point since I have very small veins, lol (young nurses would turn me into a pin cushion before they can find them. The older, experienced nurses almost always get it in 1 shot though). I have yet to get it done though, since I hear from some people on how it could be uncomfortable at times. (and I already have a rough time sleeping as it is, so I wasn't sure if I would like having something like that near my chest region or whatever).

I am pretty sure I will get it done at some point, but for now I usually bare with it when they took forever and a decade to find my veins and have been fine.

It was only noticeable for me for like the first month or so. It's not too bad. The real shitty thing is if it turns after being surgically placed, because it can lead to complications (some serious) but more often than not you'll be in outpatient surgery getting it rectified.

Yeah, that is what I heard also, about the complications. If I make it to my 50s, then this will be one of those things I will get done because I am sure I will eventually get annoyed with some nurses being unable to find my veins, lol. If my pain gets worse by that point anyway.

I have been taking that as needed for lord knows how many years now. Its actually I good thing when I don't need to go to the ER. Haven't needed to go to the ER for like 6 months now, which is a damn good run for me.

But from what a nurse, my mother, and older bro told me, I was once having a conversation where I started talking about the NBA, than gummi bears, then like, final fantasy, world peace, and finally about my hatred for reality TV. That stuff will have you on cloud 9 before you fall asleep, lol.

Me n' my bro will forever this one scene where you are running from some biker dudes, you go talk to some random asian tourist family to help you out, said asians turn out to be ninjas, they wreck them in a fight, and then after its all said and done you go with them to their house to eat sushi with the most stereotypical bugs bunny cartoon asian music playing in the background.

The whole thing is so random that its like, I can never forget it, lmao. We like to bring up random willy beamish qoutes from time to time just to make each other laugh, and get everyone else to wonder wtf we are laughing at. Game was truly asscheeks...I think my brother spent 10 dollars on it back in the day from somewhere or another.

Nah. I had a sega cd and 32x (only when I managed to get one off clearance at a roses) back in the day, along with the standard snes and genesis setup.....sega cd was pretty cool with popful mail, eternal champions cd, sonic sd, lunar 1 and 2, and this one game I owned where the dialogue and voice acting was beyond dumb so my older brother and I just used to bug out playing it (game called willy beamish), but that 32x plus the random games I had like paws of fury was a waste of 20 dollars that I will never get back, lol.

I had a cousin that came from money with a 3DO plus a good deal of the good stuff like samurai showdown, metal slug, shock troopers etc. I was crazy jealous back then, but I guess with all the neogeo collections and re-releases we have nowadays, I am kind of glad my parents never dropped that kind of money to get one, since they ain't really had it like that to be buying neo geo games anyway.

Battery issues aside, the gamegear was pretty cool. Loved playing it whenever someone I knew brought theirs over. Same goes with the saturn. (I had friends with the saturn, I only ever had a playstation and a n64 during that time).

I'm on the fence as well, but I heard there is a game breaking glitch that makes a progression item unobtainable if you do it in a certain order, but I don't know if it's been fixed.

You don't have to worry about that no more. Only those of us that managed to get our copies in the mail early/bought it from a mom and pop store early and started playing on an earlier patch, and then said patch got updated to the new one on release day on the ps4 had that problem.

Personally, its my favorite igavania ever, and I have played and beaten every single one. Of course, opinions vary, *shrugs*.

They still haven't quite solved the image retention and burn-in issue. That, combined with the price can cause hesitation. Its also something you have to think about if you game way more than you watch movies or shows in general.

The screens are gorgeous, but I am not dropping over 1,000 dollars to get a TV that can potentially end up ruined depending on how bright the TV is, playing with too much contrast (leaving it on the "vivid" setting), accidentally leaving the screen on a static image too long (can be from falling asleep, other family members leaving the TV on and whatnot), playing certain video games without removable HUDs too much, etc. They have new features that can help, like the pixel refresher, but those pixels will still degrade over time.

Personally, its too much babysitting for me for the price you have to pay. I went with samsung QLED Q8FN for my gaming needs....the blacks ain't quite on an OLED's level, but they are def. good enough.

They was pretty upset one of the characters was drawn too skinny, and I think the same artist also tended to give characaters lighter skin or something....she got bullied so hard she attempted suicide, =/

I am just now learning that once you master a skill, you can start using that skill with every other weapon of that class. I mastered that first boots martial art, the 3 piece one, and started using it with the assassin's boots....with that weapon's drop down and breakdance skill, I just did like a 9 piece combo. It looked noice.

Its pretty easy, even if you decide to leave at dusk for the late game exp boost and pick the rod and drop sword.

You might have to try a little at the beginning (mostly at that trickmaster boss, or whatever its called, boss of wonderland), but once you get to like, agrabah on up, you good to go.

I just use the PS4's built-in recording. Nowadays you can save videos up to 60 minutes if you wanted, and you can stream to youtube. (When you end the stream, it will automatically save the entire stream on youtube, incase you wanted to edit it later or something).

One of my best friends passed away unexpectedly this past saturday. We almost always chilled and messed around on party chat or whatever game late night to early morning hours (dude was definitely a night owl. You can randomly sign on to something at like 5 am and he was probably online, lol). I am really going to miss him, and playing smash online will never feel the same again to any of my group of friends.

The news hit all of us pretty hard, and his family is not taking it well at the moment.

Am I going to lose all my stats or are they going to carry over to the next game? I can imagine people getting bored before beating the first part and just grinding until the next part comes out, Lol.

I would assume it would work just like the .hack series. You carry over everything from part 1 to part 2, but for those people that for whatever reason just go straight to buying part 2 (or does not have a "carry over file you get from part 1, for clearing the game), then the game will just give you a set amount of weapons, items, and money, something basic that will just get you started at that point of the game....most likely will be missing anything optional that you could have at that point from part 1.

Even though I started gaming in the 80s with the NES, I would have to say that my first time playing phantasy star online, well, online, was the most mind-blowing for me.

No one me or the family knew had a PC with the internet in those days (and those online modems that released for the snes and genesis were nowhere in sight in south carolina. Even if they were, my family had no PC or anything to even take advantage of having the internet until the year 2,000), so online gaming was still a foreign concept to me.

Here comes the dreamcast with it's built in 56k modem. As a huge rpg fan, and someone that was curious on how an online rpg would work (I heard stories about how fun diablo 2 was for PC players, and wanted to try something like that on consoles), I went in completely blind and bought phantasy star online day 1 of it's NA release.

.....man, going online with PSO and popping my online gaming cherry had to be the most amazing gaming experience to me ever. Being make a class and play with 3 others, looking for rares, chatting with the keyboard, having a friends list....the addiction was real for a then 18 year old me. I never experienced anything like this ever, so I was constantly wanting to play this every single moment of the day.

My addiction actually got unhealthy for a good bit, but when it comes to gaming moments that made me jaw drop, first time online rpg gaming is definitely at the top of my list.

Even though I love the way that looks, I already know damn well that this is going to be similar to other shows with awesome art styles that debuted on adult swim (the boondocks, black dynamite, and the venture bros. for example) in that it is going to take forever and a decade to wait for new seasons, since it looks like it takes a deal more effort to make than the crap adult swim can put out in a week (crap like 12 oz mouse and whatever the hell that macchu picchu show is supposed to be) lol.
