Not saying this would be anywhere near a good idea, and strongly discourage anyone from trying it, but would it be possible? I dont see why not. The issue is predicting the path in such a way that youll still be able to follow it. Even with a super slow storm that could prove difficult. --- Tribalism is bad mkay. CommonJoe 09/03/19 12:37:09 AM #8	Nall posted... Wanna share the gravy recipe? I love sausage gravy. Yep start with bacon fat. Dump into pan and get melty on high heat. Throw in a diced medium sized white onion and a similarly sized red bell pepper, also diced. Season kosher salt and pepper and cook out. Let the veggies get some serious color on them (not quite caramelized, but still very brown on the onions), then make a well in the center and crumble in sausage. (I use Jimmy Dean country mild, but any breakfast blend pork sausage will work) You want the sausage to stay in contact with the pan to develop cover too so when you break it up with a wooden spoon try to wedge the sausage in between the onions and bell peppers. Optionally you can just remove the veggies temporarily but I dont like to. Season with salt and pepper again. Once the sausage is browned on one side mix to flip everything and over and let it sit to brown. Once most of the rawness is gone, throw in a few dashes of onion and garlic powder, and just a pinch each of cayenne and paprika, and mix. Then, drop about 3/4 cup of AP flour over the mixture and mix well to soak up any remaining fat and to cover the sausage and veggies. You dont want any white flour visible. Once thats set grab some milk from the fridge and pour over mixture until it rests just above the meat/veggies. Use spoon to scrape up the fond and excess roux on the bottom of the pop and gently mix. Once everythings incorporated and you cant feel any resistance scraping across the bottom of the pan let it sit to start to simmer. You can leave it on high heat. Once it bubbles at the edges start stirring it until it hits the thickness you want (it will get thicker the longer it sits off the heat so if you want it thinner for longer you may want to remove it early). Then just season to taste with salt and as much black pepper as you are willing to throw at it. . It was originally my moms recipe that was her moms recipe, who I never learned where she got it from. Its been modified over the years and I added my own touch with the veggies. My moms addition was the powders. --- Tribalism is bad mkay. Shouldnt have to explain that.

CommonJoe 09/02/19 11:29:05 PM #1	Dorian is currently stationary and is not moving north like expected. According to the above, theres a second area (the first of which is what has kept Dorian so south for this long) of high pressure thats pushing against it. So, with the middle area between these two high pressure areas supposedly closed off, the only place Dorian has to go is across Florida and into the Gulf. I had a gut feeling on this happening yesterday. Hopefully it stays around a Cat 4 before it does this and does not strengthen back to Cat 5 sitting in the Bahamas...like I also have a gut feeling on. And for reference, Im about 10 miles west of Merritt Island currently, meaning if this does happen my area is going to get trashed. We might not get the eye but were going to take a wallop all the same if Dorian crosses the state. --- Tribalism is bad mkay. Shouldnt have to explain that.

Because you would be consuming the media itself, you do owe some amount to the creator. You still have to pay for a meal of steak and eggs even though the inventor of that meal has long since been compensated for the cost of production of that meal. While digital media has a relatively negligible cost to duplicate and even distribute, where piracy becomes less of an issue is when creators/distributors begin anti-consumer practices because of this supposed piracy issue. These are things like Napster getting shutdown (or pirates having the book thrown at them and then some) or the horrors of DRM. At that point they dont deserve the sale and can get fucked. Long story short, pirate stuff thats put out by shitty anti-consumer people (or better yet dont give their content the light of day; little reason to justify their existence by acknowledging their crappy product) and pay for the rest. --- Tribalism is bad mkay. Its very seldom (and arguably it may not have ever happened) that hurricanes follow the cone perfectly. And moreover, the eye can follow any path within that cone based on the models theyre running. It seldomly (arguably never) follows the centerline perfectly and in many cases it can be quite inaccurate.
