I feel the same TC. I'm a music composer/electronic music producer/pianist. I went to college for a music degree and still hace a crappy retail job after 4 years. I hear bland music everywhere getting praise. I hear video game soundtracks that I could have done something of similar quality.

Yeah I feel worthless a lot of times.

I've been already wanting to leave since the hours have been drastically cut and upper management is micromanaging every single move. This was the last straw.

He wanted me to go to another store and help finish projects for a coworker who has been gone all week. He was rushing the job at the store I was working with only a 4 hour shift. So basically only do 2.5 hours at store and drive to other store to maybe do 1 hour of work. I told him I don't want to go if I can't pick up extra hours. I said the coworker didn't get the hours, so why can't I pick those up. Surely there will be several hours of work from 3-4. Well then he started getting mad and saying I could resign. He said I was yelling at him when I was just trying to make my point. He then threatened to beat my ass and was cursing at me.

Done with these types of jobs

This is the kind of church that has an elaborate lobby, coffee shop, and a bunch of rich people in the area going there.

He's doing all this because there was a revival recently. That's when some outside preacher evangalist often comes and preaches every night for 4 or 5 days. They get really fired up and have a message from God oftentimes that is directed at the youth. I experienced it first hand and know how manipulative and scummy they really are.

Yeah the church can sure preach against video games and movies, but won't bat an eye if they make money off those games.

I mean it's his decision to quit video games and I don't really want to meddle into his business with religion and his own family. I mean he can figure that stuff out on his own and then he can talk to me when he's an adult.

It's just these games mean something to me. We have bonded over games so much.

they said they're going to sell their games at a garage sale the church is having. Ok first of all, I am rather sad that the church has brianwashed my family that much. To make one feel guilty for having games. Yes, it's an ultra conservative Christian group

But here's the part I don't know what to do about. I gave this family member some old games years ago that I had double copies of. A system as well. I have also given birthday gifts in the form of games to my family. Now they're going to be sold and profit given to a church I was forced to go to and now despise. A church where they clearly spend their funds for material things like making the church look "Godly".

So do I have right to ask for all those games I gave to my family member. Ok the gifts are one thing, but there's some old games I let them have so they could appreciate the classics.
